Bridging Institutional Finance and Emerging Markets

Plume Network and Reah are joining forces to expand access to tokenized financial assets for businesses across emerging markets. The partnership aims to place institutional-grade investment products alongside fiat, stablecoins, and other treasury assets, targeting companies in Indonesia, Mexico, and Malaysia.

The product lineup includes U.S. Treasuries, AAA collateralised loan obligations (CLOs), private credit, and bond funds. These are asset classes that have historically been out of reach for most businesses outside major financial centres. The partnership is focused on making them more accessible through onchain infrastructure.

Plume Network provides the underlying vault architecture for the arrangement. The network bundles asset issuance tooling, compliance-aware accounts, and an onchain data feed into one stack, so issuers of treasuries, credit, and commodities can operate under a single execution environment. The network embeds regulatory tools such as KYC and AML directly into its protocol layer to facilitate institutional-grade transactions.

Reah, for its part, operates as a financial operating system that unifies fiat banking, digital assets treasury, and AI-native execution for global businesses. The platform manages money across fiat and digital assets with unified control, supports regulated named accounts in USD, GBP, and EUR, and offers global coverage across 150 countries. Integrating Plume Network's onchain vaults directly into that stack gives Reah's business clients a straightforward route into tokenized asset exposure.

A Growing Market With Institutional Momentum

The timing reflects broader momentum in the tokenized asset space. The category sits at roughly $30 billion onchain in Q1 2026, up from under $5 billion at the start of 2024. Growth is concentrated in two segments: tokenized Treasuries, which offer regulated money-market exposure for crypto-native treasuries, and tokenized private credit, which provides yield products for funds and decentralised organisations.

Plume Network itself has built considerable scale. The network holds licences from the Bermuda Monetary Authority and has obtained SEC transfer agent approval, a relatively rare credential in the tokenized asset space. It offers access to institutional assets that were once reserved for large investors, including AAA CLOs, structured receivables, and market-neutral strategies.

The Reah partnership fits into that broader ambition. By routing products through Reah's unified banking platform, Plume Network gains distribution to business clients in fast-growing markets where access to dollar-denominated, yield-bearing instruments has traditionally been limited. For those businesses, the arrangement offers a practical entry point into assets that carry the kind of quality ratings and liquidity profiles normally associated with institutional portfolios.
