@Bybit_Official has rolled out a retail shopping mini app for its 85 million users, built on the @Uquidcard platform and underpinned by @0xPolygon's payment infrastructure. The move brings a fully integrated commerce experience directly inside the exchange, letting users browse, buy, and pay without ever leaving the Bybit interface.

How It Works

The mini app draws on Polygon's Orchestration Management System (OMS), which Polygon describes as infrastructure for enabling real-time, low-cost on-chain payments using stablecoins and smart contracts. Crucially, the OMS handles cross-chain routing automatically, meaning users can pay with any supported cryptocurrency regardless of which blockchain network it sits on, with no manual bridging required.

Uquidcard, which has operated as a Web3 commerce platform since 2016, integrates Polygon's Open Money Stack to deliver what it calls a one-click checkout across EVM-compatible chains. The system removes the typical friction points of crypto payments, failed swaps, network switching, and multiple approval steps, replacing them with a single confirmation.

Why It Matters

Bybit's user base gives the integration immediate scale. Plugging a fully functional shopping portal into an exchange used by tens of millions of people shortens the distance between holding crypto and spending it on everyday goods and services. Users can place orders commercially from within the exchange interface, without the detour of transferring funds to a separate wallet or navigating a third-party storefront.

The partnership also adds another commercial use case to Polygon's OMS at a time when the network is actively expanding its payments footprint. Polygon's payments page notes that the OMS is integrated with crypto exchanges and on and off-ramps across 150-plus countries, with average transaction costs of around $0.002. The network already processes payment volumes for enterprises including Mastercard and Visa.

For Uquidcard, landing inside Bybit's app extends its reach well beyond its existing user base, while validating its infrastructure as a scalable layer for exchange-native commerce.
