The XRP community is not short on opinions right now. Holders are voicing frustration across social media, and the debate over the asset’s direction is growing louder.
Into that conversation stepped crypto commentator X Finance Bull, who laid out a clear long-term investment thesis for XRP and addressed the community’s concerns head-on.
“I know you’re frustrated with $XRP’s price,” he wrote. “I’m a holder too, so of course I feel the same way.”
That acknowledgment alone set the tone. X Finance Bull was not dismissing the frustration. He was sharing it.
Conviction Over Price
X Finance Bull has held XRP for years with a long-term outlook. He explained that he never expected major Ripple announcements to produce immediate price jumps. His focus stays on XRP’s role in global finance over time, not its current trading value.
“I bought it because of the role I see it playing in the future of global finance,” he said. “That’s a big difference.”
He pointed to real-world progress as the basis for his conviction. Banks are getting involved. Financial institutions are preparing for tokenization. Ripple continues to expand its regulated infrastructure. These are developments, he argued, that were only theoretical years ago.
Adoption Takes Time
X Finance Bull acknowledged that price has not yet reflected those developments. He called that frustrating. But he was clear that the current price action has not shaken his position.
“This dump hasn’t changed my conviction in what’s being built today and how it will be used in the financial system over the coming years,” he stated.
His core argument is that infrastructure-level change moves slowly. Adoption needs time to translate into demand. Investors who bought XRP expecting fast returns from headlines, he suggested, entered with a different thesis than his own.
The comments reflected genuine tension within the XRP community. User chrissybobs24 expressed lost faith in Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and the company, writing that “90% of us are really pissed.”
Mark Robinson took a different view, saying he treats every day at the current price as a buying opportunity and advises ignoring 10-20% swings. TnT4Ever14 argued that until XRP achieves full global use case adoption, price performance will continue trailing Bitcoin.
Holding for the Future
X Finance Bull closed with a distinction worth noting. An investor can feel disappointed with today’s price and remain bullish on long-term potential at the same time. For him, those two positions are not in conflict. “I’m holding for that future,” he said.
