Ripple Seconds SingHacks 2026 as Singapore’s Fintech Builders Face Real-World Challenges

Ripple is backing SingHacks 2026, an in-person fintech hackathon returning to Singapore on September 4–5, 2026, bringing developers together to tackle real-world challenges across payments, financial infrastructure, and digital assets.

Organized with Tenity, the event will give teams two intensive days to turn ideas into working solutions for challenges facing the region’s fast-moving fintech ecosystem. The focus is firmly on building, not just pitching concepts.

There’s also $10,000 in prize money up for grabs, with leading teams gaining exposure to sponsors and industry players behind the challenges.

For builders, the opportunity could extend well beyond the prize pool, offering a chance to showcase projects to companies actively shaping the future of finance.

RippleX and Julius Baer Lead the Sponsor Lineup

Two major names are anchoring this year’s event: RippleX and Julius Baer.

RippleX brings Ripple’s blockchain and developer expertise, while Julius Baer adds the perspective of a major private banking institution. Their involvement gives participants access to insights spanning blockchain payments, digital assets, and traditional finance.

The wider partner lineup includes Mission+, Staple AI, HeyMax, Unlimit, and t54.ai, bringing together expertise across AI, payments, fintech, and digital assets.

Ripple’s involvement is particularly significant as developers increasingly explore blockchain infrastructure for faster payments, tokenized assets, and AI-powered financial applications.

From Ideas to Working Products

SingHacks 2026 is built around a straightforward challenge: give developers real industry problems and let them build solutions that could work in the real world.

Teams will spend the weekend developing, testing, and refining their projects before presenting them to judges and industry participants. This hands-on approach makes the event particularly relevant for builders who want to move beyond theoretical concepts and create products with practical use cases.

The hackathon also arrives as interest in the XRP Ledger continues to grow. Daily active addresses have recently reached 14.3K, while developers explore applications involving AI payments, tokenized assets, and other emerging financial use cases.

For fintech, payments, blockchain, and digital-asset developers, SingHacks 2026 offers more than a competition. It is a chance to build under real-world constraints, connect with industry players, and put ideas to the test.

With RippleX and Julius Baer leading the sponsor lineup and $10,000 on the line, Singapore is shaping up to be a key gathering point for builders turning financial challenges into working solutions.
