XRP recently established a new equilibrium within the $1.40 to $1.45 range following a robust upward trend. This rise briefly touched $1.70 before settling. In the current market pause, $1.25 emerges as a pivotal threshold in XRP’s ongoing cycle.

What Levels Are Crucial for Technical Analysis?

The $1.25 support is closely monitored in technical circles. TradingView indicators and on-chain exchange data suggest this region is under watch by significant market players. This tier has been identified as a critical accumulation phase, particularly with regulatory updates expected around September 15.

Weekly charts highlight $1.25 as a significant support zone, aligning with the middle Bollinger Band and the 0.5 Fibonacci retracement level. This framework relates to XRP’s August price oscillation from $1.00 to $1.70.

Thus, a retest of the $1.25 range appears technically justified, representing a routine cooldown post-local peaks.

Some market players view a potential pullback to $1.25 as a natural part of the technical correction following local peaks.

Major players executed a considerable buying wave during XRP’s climb from $1.00 to $1.70, evident in on-chain data. Wallets holding one to ten million XRP added an impressive total of 642 million XRP during this period.

CryptoQuant insights suggest a short-term pullback foundation is forming. XRP reserves on Binance peaked at 2.6245 billion tokens during the latest local peak. This reserve spike hints at individual investors possibly taking profits around $1.45.

Concurrently, a supply-side squeeze is apparent as Binance’s total XRP reserves dropped from 3.1 billion to 2.6 billion over the past year. Such trends imply that large investors continue to strategically retract liquid XRP from the market.

Even with short-term reserve increases on Binance, CryptoQuant reports a significant decline in total XRP supply on the exchange over the last year.

What’s Scheduled for September 15 That Could Shake the Market?

September 15 marks a pivotal date with the U.S. Senate slated to hold a procedural vote on the CLARITY Act. This legislation aims to clarify the legal standing of digital assets and delineate regulatory boundaries between the SEC and CFTC.

  • The CLARITY Act aims to clarify when digital assets are securities or commodities.
  • Plans to distinctify regulatory roles between the SEC and CFTC.
  • Potential shifts in market dynamics as big wallets anticipate regulatory moves.

Current market dynamics suggest large wallets might be poised to finalize positions at lower costs near key pivot areas before legislative decisions unfold.
