Robinhood is offering $5 worth of $SUI to users who spend a few minutes learning about the @SuiNetwork Layer-1 blockchain inside its app. The promotion is framed as a "SUI 101" lesson and is not available in New York state, and rewards are limited to while supplies last.

The campaign is not an endorsement of the token. Still, it is notable that $HOOD, the listed parent of @RobinhoodApp, led by @vladtenev, is putting resources behind educating investors about this particular network.

How the Robinhood Learn and Earn programme works

The offer sits within Robinhood's existing Learn and Earn feature. According to Robinhood's rewards support page, users scroll to the "Learn about crypto" section of their crypto account and select Learn and Earn. They read a short lesson about a token, then take a quiz, and those who pass may be eligible for a reward. Robinhood says the cash value of the reward must be held for 180 days after it is granted, and availability is limited to certain jurisdictions.

Crypto community accounts have described the Sui version as a card labelled "Learn and earn $5 of SUI" in the app, with users completing short lessons to claim the reward.

Background: Robinhood and Sui

The promotion follows Robinhood's decision to add the token to its platform last year. The Sui Foundation said SUI became available to trade for US customers on Robinhood, and described the listing as a step up in access for retail users new to crypto. CoinCentral reported that spot trading went live on August 19, 2025, for users in the US and Europe, and that the token's price initially rose 1.7% before reversing amid profit-taking.

Robinhood's own asset page describes SUI as the native utility token of the Layer-1 Sui blockchain developed by Mysten Labs. It is used for gas fees, staking in the network's Delegated Proof-of-Stake system, and governance.

Educational rewards of this kind are a common way for trading platforms to draw new users toward specific assets. Crypto prices are volatile, and users receiving tokens through such programmes should be aware that the value of their holdings can fall as well as rise.
