The global pharmaceutical company Sanofi has introduced an artificial intelligence assistant aimed at streamlining how its worldwide sales teams prepare for meetings with healthcare providers. Dubbed “Concierge for Field,” the innovation made its debut at Snowflake Summit 26 on June 2, 2026.

According to Sanofi, this workflow previously demanded hours of tedious manual investigation. The company now accomplishes the same task through conversational AI.
This initiative represents one component of Sanofi’s extensive strategy to integrate artificial intelligence throughout every division of its operations. The organization has centralized its data infrastructure within Snowflake’s ecosystem and is launching AI agents across scientific research, supply chain management, information technology, workforce operations, and field marketing.
Technology firm Elementum plays a supporting role in this infrastructure. Elementum creates enterprise applications that function natively within Snowflake’s architecture, eliminating what they characterize as outdated cloud software solutions.

Emmanuel Frenehard, Sanofi’s Chief Digital Officer, explained that the organization invested years constructing data pipelines merely to retrieve internal information. The current implementation addresses that fundamental challenge.
“We are constructing AI capabilities directly within our data environment and transforming operational processes across the entire organization, spanning R&D through manufacturing to commercial functions,” Frenehard explained. “This approach positions Sanofi to become the pioneering biopharmaceutical enterprise operating with AI at full scale.”
