Major altcoins Shiba Inu (SHIB), Hyperliquid (HYPE), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Monero (XMR) are trading near pivotal support levels as momentum from recent rallies fades and participants await the next decisive market move.

Shiba Inu struggles to break resistance

Shiba Inu continues to trade in a narrow band around $0.00000519, lacking a clear directional trend. Despite rapid moves in August, the token has not firmly established a bullish trajectory, but short-term support below the market has strengthened compared to the summer period.

Important technical support remains at $0.0000050–$0.0000051. Since September, SHIB has tested this zone several times and has managed recoveries with a cluster of moving averages reinforcing the area. As long as the price stays above this range, a further attempt at a move higher is possible.

However, repeated failures to break the $0.0000054–$0.0000055 level continue to cap SHIB. Another challenge is presented by the long-term moving average near $0.00000565. In August, the price briefly surged past this region toward $0.0000062 but was unable to maintain momentum.

Trading volume has declined steadily since the August and early September spikes, and the RSI is hovering near the midpoint, signaling neutral momentum. A daily close above $0.0000055 could open the door for a rise toward $0.0000057–$0.0000060. If $0.0000050 is lost, the focus may shift down to $0.0000047–$0.0000048.

SHIB continues to consolidate around $0.00000519, held aloft by firm short-term support, but needs a close above $0.0000055 to break out of its range-bound structure.

Hyperliquid cools after rapid expansion

Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual trading platform, saw its native token HYPE soar from about $56 to nearly $90 between August and September. After this significant rally, HYPE is now undergoing its first meaningful pullback and trades around $79.60, with support established in the $77–$78 zone.

Despite the correction, the overall technical structure has not turned bearish. Medium-term moving averages continue to rise below the market, and price action remains above these levels. However, short-term momentum has slowed with the RSI sliding toward 50 and a series of lower highs since the late rally.

Trading volume has dropped sharply from the elevated levels seen during the breakout, putting the emphasis on the $77–$78 support. If HYPE holds above this range, bulls may attempt a move toward $82–$84, with further resistance at $87–$90. A break below $77 could bring further downside toward $73–$74, then possibly $69–$70.

Dogecoin maintains post-breakout support

Dogecoin’s August rally saw the popular meme coin jump from around $0.07 to near $0.095. Since then, DOGE has consolidated mostly above support in the $0.081–$0.082 range, currently trading near $0.083. Despite attempts to clear resistance at $0.09–$0.095, buyers have struggled to extend the recovery.

Technical indicators show DOGE resting above a series of rising moving averages between $0.079 and $0.082. Neutral sentiment governs the market, with the RSI gravitating toward 50 and reduced trading volume signaling consolidation. After failing twice at the $0.09–$0.095 resistance level, DOGE may need renewed demand to revisit recent highs.

Losing immediate support could expose $0.078, while a move higher through $0.086 could set up a return to $0.09–$0.095. A decisive break above $0.095 would provide the clearest sign of a continuing uptrend for the asset.

Monero holds strong after major rally

Monero, the leading privacy-focused cryptocurrency, has been consolidating after a large rally pushed its price from about $350 in July to nearly $560 at the September high. XMR currently trades at $519, with $500 remaining as the crucial support zone following multiple successful tests in September.

Resistance sits around $530–$540, while the most important overhead level is $550–$560, representing the most recent local high. A break above $560 could resume XMR’s series of higher highs, potentially leading to $580–$600.

The RSI has cooled toward the upper 50s after a prolonged stay in overbought territory, signaling that buying pressure has eased but the broader trend remains intact for now. If $500 fails, the price could drop to $480, then toward the previous breakout zone between $450–$460.
