Shiba Inu (SHIB) has experienced a substantial jump in spot-market capital flows over several intraday intervals, signaling a notable resurgence in interest. Recent data shows SHIB’s eight-hour spot net-flow change rose 440.65%, with positive net inflows totaling approximately $506,680.

Mixed capital flows across timeframes

This improvement extends into other key periods. In the last four hours, net inflows reached $394,170, rising 337.15%. Over a 12-hour interval, SHIB posted another $352,220 in net inflows. Looking at the 24-hour mark, capital moving into the token totaled $6.72 million, surpassing outflows of $6.11 million and resulting in net inflows of about $613,500.

These figures indicate that capital returned to SHIB over the past day, helping to reverse some of the pressure seen earlier this month.

Period Spot Net Inflows % Change 4-hour $394,170 +337.15% 8-hour $506,680 +440.65% 12-hour $352,220 Positive 24-hour $613,500 Positive

Short-term weakness emerging

Shorter-duration data, however, points to growing caution among traders. During the most recent hour, SHIB recorded $211,140 in inflows but $247,370 in outflows, resulting in a negative net flow of $36,230. The 30-minute reading was also negative at $26,830. On a broader three-day view, SHIB’s net flow remains negative by roughly $388,160, setting a more cautious tone for the near term.

Futures market signals remain bearish

Futures flows have largely failed to support the underlying strength seen in the spot market. Net flows have remained negative across the five-minute, 15-minute, 30-minute, one-hour, four-hour, and 12-hour intervals. The 12-hour metric, in particular, fell to negative $433,240. The only exception appeared in the eight-hour window, which remains slightly positive.

Mini dictionary: Spot net-flow refers to the difference between capital inflows and outflows on the spot market, indicating the balance of buying versus selling activity for a crypto asset over a specific period.

SHIB price action and technical levels

Market weakness has also become visible in SHIB’s price performance. The token now trades near $0.00000550 after falling sharply from recent levels around $0.00000580. This decline has pulled SHIB back below its long-term moving average at about $0.00000565, erasing gains made since the September recovery phase.

Critical support levels now rest at $0.00000540–$0.00000545. Maintaining this zone could allow SHIB to rally toward $0.00000560 and potentially retarget $0.00000580 to $0.00000600. However, a sustained move below $0.00000540 may set up deeper losses, bringing the $0.00000520 area and the key $0.00000500 psychological threshold into focus for traders.

Spot net inflows have surged more than 440% over the last eight hours, but short-term spot and futures flows have turned negative, leaving buyers struggling to assert lasting control.

While longer-term spot demand saw a notable increase, the persistent weakness in short-term flows and ongoing negative sentiment in futures trading indicate that SHIB’s outlook remains mixed. The token’s return below major technical resistance further supports the cautious stance among market participants.
