Solana, a high-speed blockchain network used for payments, trading, and crypto applications, is bringing its flagship annual conference to the UK.

The Solana Foundation announced that Breakpoint 2026 will take place November 15–17 at Olympia London, the first time the event has been held in Britain, and unveiled an initial speaker lineup drawing from finance, tech, and crypto.

The Foundation said it expects more than 8,000 attendees from over 100 countries. Among the first confirmed speakers are MoneyGram CEO Anthony Soohoo, Allfunds CEO Annabel Spring, Bridge CEO Zach Abrams, Real Vision co-founder Raoul Pal, and Balaji Srinivasan, founder of The Network State.

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko and Solana Foundation President Lily Liu are also slated to speak, with more names to be announced before November.

A conference built around the "token supercycle"

This year's event centers on a theme the Foundation calls the "Token Supercycle," its term for the growing movement of stablecoins, tokenized assets, payments, and AI-driven activity onto blockchains.

Stablecoins are digital tokens pegged to a stable value like the U.S. dollar, while tokenized real-world assets, or RWAs, are traditional assets such as bonds, funds, or property represented as tradable tokens on a blockchain.

According to the Foundation, Solana now accounts for more than half of all blockchain transactions and processed upwards of $4.7 trillion in stablecoin volume in 2026, alongside more than $4 billion in tokenized real-world asset value. Those are the company's own figures.

The programming splits across two days: the first focused on assets already moving onchain, including stablecoins, payments, and tokenized real-world assets; the second on emerging areas such as AI agents, prediction markets, and consumer applications.

London as a capital-markets pitch

The choice of London is deliberate. Liu framed the city as the historic home of modern capital markets and argued the next phase is building markets that are "global from day one" and operate around the clock.

The Foundation positioned the event as a moment to court the UK's institutions, talent, and policymakers at a time when the country faces questions about retaining both capital and talent in global finance.
