Solana spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) posted their strongest net inflow streak on record, with $138 million entering the sector over a 10-day period. The ten-day surge included a $47 million single-day inflow on Tuesday, as investors continued to favor Solana-based products despite choppy market conditions.

Solana spot ETF inflows set new record

Analytics firm Glassnode reported that Solana spot ETFs attracted $138 million in net inflows during the most recent 10-day window. According to the data, Tuesday marked the largest single-day inflow, totaling $47 million. The overall inflows reflect growing demand among institutional investors, even as the broader crypto market experienced significant volatility.

Several issuers of Solana ETFs saw their fund balances rise during this period. Bitwise, an asset management firm specializing in crypto-based investment products, led the pack with its Solana Staking ETF, BSOL. Glassnode recorded that BSOL now manages approximately 9.3 million SOL and has surpassed $1 billion in assets under management (AUM), a first for a Solana ETF.

Bitwise stated that the BSOL fund reached the $1 billion milestone exactly 10 months after its launch. The company reported that nearly $1 billion in inflows entered BSOL during a period broadly characterized as a bear market, underscoring continued investor interest.

During the latest 10-day period, Solana spot ETFs attracted $138 million in net inflows, with Bitwise’s BSOL marking a record by surpassing $1 billion in assets under management.

Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas reported that Solana investment products accumulated $1.7 billion in total inflows to date. He emphasized that the category has so far avoided any prolonged stretch of net outflows.

Bitwise president Teddy Fusaro highlighted the contrast between BSOL’s asset growth and the performance of Solana’s market price. He indicated that while the fund’s capital base rose, BSOL’s price remained about 40% below its initial listing level.

Fusaro added that the Solana asset itself remained roughly 60% below its all-time high, noting BSOL became the third cryptocurrency-based exchange-traded product to cross $1 billion in assets under management.

SOL price retreats despite ETF accumulation

Solana’s spot price slipped 4.26% to $103.58 over the past 24 hours, based on CoinMarketCap data. The downturn followed a wider market sell-off affecting multiple cryptocurrencies. CoinMarketCap attributed the move partly to heightened risk aversion after recent hawkish commentary from the Federal Reserve.

Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, also declined 4.24% in the same period, keeping Solana and other altcoins closely aligned with broad market momentum. The data provider suggested some profit-taking occurred after SOL’s recent rally toward $110, which likely contributed to a modest sector-wide rotation away from alternative cryptocurrencies as Bitcoin’s market share increased.

CoinMarketCap identified $104.41 as a key Fibonacci support level for Solana. If the price holds above this threshold, analysts see potential for another move toward $110. Sustained movement below this support could open the door to further declines toward the $100 mark, even as ETFs continue to attract inflows.

The resilience in ETF demand was notable as Solana’s spot price remained under pressure. BSOL’s milestone achievement and the group’s record inflows highlight an ongoing divergence between fund accumulation and short-term price trends.

Bitwise underlined that most BSOL inflows have occurred during a downturn for Solana, reflecting steady investor conviction in the asset’s long-term prospects.
