Solana is showing bullish signals across both short- and long-term timeframes, with one chart pointing to a near-term move toward $120 and another mapping a potential multi-cycle breakout above $1,000. The immediate test is whether SOL can continue holding its reclaimed $96-$97 support zone, while the larger bullish thesis depends on eventually escaping a broad long-term descending structure.
Solana Holds $97 Breakout as $120 Becomes the Next Target
Solana’s daily chart has strengthened after SOL broke above a resistance level near $97 and then successfully retested that area as support. Quinten Francois identifies the breakout-and-retest structure as the key reason the next upside objective near $120 is coming into focus.

The SOL/USDT daily chart shows price near $104.52 after a sharp August recovery from the mid-$70s. The rally pushed SOL through the horizontal resistance level around $96.49, an area that had previously rejected price on earlier advances.
The subsequent pullback toward that level is the more important technical development. Instead of falling back into the former range, SOL held the breakout area and bounced, indicating that old resistance is beginning to function as new support.
As long as SOL stays above roughly $96-$97, the short-term bullish structure remains intact. The next major level visible on the chart is around $118.65, closely matching Francois’ $120 target.
A clean break above $120 would strengthen the case for another leg higher. The setup would weaken if SOL loses the reclaimed $96-$97 area and fails to recover it, which would raise the risk that the breakout was temporary.
Long-Term Solana Fractal Projects a Much Larger $1,000+ Move
A broader weekly chart from CryptoCurb presents a much more ambitious scenario. The analysis compares Solana’s current multi-year consolidation with an earlier corrective phase that eventually gave way to a major expansion, suggesting a similar breakout could ultimately carry SOL beyond $1,000.

The SOL/USDT weekly chart shows price around $106.51 and highlights a repeating sequence of strong rallies followed by prolonged downward-sloping consolidation zones. The earlier structure eventually resolved upward, and CryptoCurb’s projection assumes the current formation could follow a comparable path.
The chart’s four-figure target should be treated as a conditional long-term scenario rather than an immediate forecast. SOL first needs to break convincingly above the upper boundary of the current descending range before the fractal gains stronger technical confirmation.
That distinction matters because the two charts address different time horizons. Francois’ analysis focuses on a nearby $120 objective supported by a recent resistance-to-support flip, while CryptoCurb’s $1,000-plus projection requires a much larger structural breakout and sustained expansion over time.
For now, the $96-$97 zone is the clearest near-term level to monitor. Holding it keeps the path toward $120 open, while a successful breakout from the broader long-term structure would be needed before the much larger $1,000 scenario becomes technically credible.
