Solana is striving to surpass the $100 threshold in the wake of its recent recovery, with the market turning its attention to the pivotal levels of $110 and $120. Trading recently within the $101 to $102 range, Solana’s value remains well above the summer lows, even after its retreat from an August peak of approximately $110.

Will $100 Prove To Be A Steady Support?

Securing the $100 area as a reliable support has emerged as a crucial concern in Solana’s short-term outlook. Early technical indicators suggest pressure points between $104 and $107, while liquidity appears to build around the $108 to $110 region. Successfully cracking this zone could usher in a more robust trajectory, opening pathways potentially toward the $120 mark.

Analyst Ucan underscores the importance of the $97.70 level as a support, emphasizing that staying above it maintains an upward momentum.

The analyst also notes that surpassing $120 would signal a more significant breakthrough.

Is $110 Facing Resistance Pressure?

Solana’s recent surge in August saw it stalling around $110. With short-term liquidation liquidity also concentrated between $108 and $110, this band presents intensified significance. Following Solana’s pullback from its August zenith, milestones of $106.25 and $112.50 have emerged as additional resistance levels, according to Crypto.news analysis.

A daily close above $110 could reinforce potential ascension towards $120. Conversely, losing grip between $97 and $100 could push the price back below the $90 mark.

Where Does Institutional Demand Stand?

Institutional interest plays a key role in supporting Solana’s core framework. The launch of Solana ETFs in the U.S. followed a solid performance in August. Notably, there was an 11-day streak of net inflows, although momentum tapered off subsequently. Exceeding $1 billion in ETF assets highlights the depth of institutional involvement.

This deceleration is notable, as ETF investments significantly contributed to Solana’s recovery from its summer lows. A resurgence in fund inflows could bolster demand for retesting the $110 resistance.

  • A breakout at $110 could catalyze upward momentum toward $120.
  • Institutional demand through ETF inflows remains a potential driver for price action.
  • Analyzing large wallet activities is crucial for understanding future market dynamics.

The scrutiny of large wallet movements becomes critical during potential breakout scenarios. The largest observed wallet reportedly holds around 5.18 million SOL, aligning with roughly 1% of the tracked supply. However, most of these wallets appear to be staking accounts rather than linked to imminent sell-offs.

While large holdings might seem like sell pressure on-chain, staking accounts predominantly mark these balances, implying they may not head towards exchanges soon.
