SpaceX stock gains on UBS forecasts

UBS kept its Buy rating and $210 price target, TheFly reported. It forecasts third-quarter revenue of $13.8 billion, about 7% above the $12.9 billion market estimate.

The bank expects adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization of $7.5 billion, roughly 9% above consensus. Analysts project revenue of $44.82 billion for 2026, Fiscal.ai data shows.

AI contracts drive revenue expectations

UBS expects SpaceX’s expanded Anthropic agreement to help generate $7.6 billion in AI revenue. That would make AI its largest revenue source for the quarter. Separately, Anthropic agreed to an $11.6 billion computing deal with Akamai last week, securing additional resources over seven years.

TD Cowen began covering SpaceX stock on Monday with a Buy rating and $200 target. It projects AI computing rental revenue of $14 billion in 2026. Its forecasts reach $66 billion in 2027 and $133 billion in 2028.

UBS expects connectivity revenue to rise 59% to $4.9 billion during the third quarter. It forecasts $1.3 billion from the space business as commercial launch activity increases.

The bank also projects $19.3 billion in quarterly capital spending across computing, satellites and launch operations. A September 24 report put the previous quarter’s AI capital spending at $15 billion.

Starship completes orbital satellite deployment

Starship’s Flight 14 reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites. An early engine shutdown shortened the mission. Morgan Stanley gave the flight a B+ grade, citing recurring propulsion problems. RBC said Flight 14 advanced launch capabilities and deployment of the upgraded constellation.

A September 25 report outlined Google’s planned orbital AI chip test aboard Transporter-18. The project will test computing hardware in space, with SpaceX providing the launch service. Google will measure how the chips withstand radiation, launch forces, and extreme temperatures.

Morgan Stanley maintained its $300 target for SpaceX stock. It identified a successful Flight 15 catch as a potential catalyst. RBC retained a $225 target, while Clear Street kept $217. Clear Street also cited remaining execution risks after the mission’s early engine shutdown. CLSA initiated coverage with an Accumulate rating and a $250 target.
