Spot $ZEC ETFs have recorded eight straight days of net inflows, even as the broader crypto market remains under pressure. The run follows a heavy stretch of redemptions earlier in the month.
According to figures supplied for this report, the @Zcash products are up about $22 million on the week. Even so, they remain down $41.68 million for October as a whole, reflecting the scale of the earlier outflows.
Inflows Build Through Late October
The only US-listed spot Zcash fund in the data is The Zcash ETF (ZCSH), run by Grayscale. Phemex, citing SoSoValue data, reported that spot Zcash ETFs took in $2.07 million on October 28, with ZCSH the sole contributor. Cumulative net inflows at that point stood at $211 million, and total net assets were $757 million.
Flows picked up the following day. KuCoin News, citing SoSoValue, reported that ZCSH added $14.81 million on October 29, lifting cumulative inflows to $226 million. Net asset value was $788 million, equal to a 3.71% net asset ratio.
The recovery follows a weak patch. Invezz reported that the fund drew $41.09 million in the prior week, which ended three consecutive weeks of outflows. The inflows arrived ahead of Zcash's Network Upgrade 7 (NU7), scheduled for November 5, according to the same report.
What the Fund Is
ZCSH began as Grayscale Zcash Trust (ZEC) and trades on NYSE Arca. According to its SEC prospectus filing, the trust changed its name to The Zcash ETF on August 24, 2026. Its objective is for share value to reflect the ZEC it holds, less expenses. The filing notes that buying shares is not a direct investment in ZEC.
The month-to-date deficit shows that the recent inflow streak has not yet offset October's earlier redemptions. Whether the buying continues around the NU7 upgrade will determine if the monthly total moves back toward break-even.
