Tokenized Equities Go Live on Arbitrum
Stove Finance (@stoveprotocol), a real-asset infrastructure provider, has deployed tokenized U.S. and South Korean equities on the @Arbitrum network, making them available for trading through the @Uniswap app. According to Uniswap's official announcement, the stock tokens are live on Arbitrum and supported by UniswapX.
The move is part of a broader push to bring traditional financial assets onto decentralized infrastructure. Stove Finance has also been active on the regulatory front: the SEC recently made public comments the firm submitted regarding an exemption for tokenized stocks, with Stove focusing on cross-system settlement, reconciliation, and how corporate actions such as dividends and stock splits can maintain consistency across traditional and on-chain systems.
How UniswapX Makes It Work
The tokenized equities are powered by UniswapX, Uniswap's intent-based trading protocol. Rather than routing trades through a standard AMM pool, UniswapX uses a Dutch auction model in which a network of third-party fillers competes to execute each order. Users sign an off-chain order, and fillers pay the gas on their behalf, meaning traders get gasless execution. Because orders never hit the public mempool as traditional swap transactions, classic sandwich attacks and front-running do not apply. Any MEV that would otherwise be captured by arbitrageurs is instead returned to traders in the form of better pricing.
The result for traders accessing Stove Finance's tokenized equities is a package of features that would be difficult to replicate on traditional venues: MEV protection by design, zero-gas trading, and price discovery across multiple liquidity sources simultaneously. Traders anywhere in the world can access Wall Street and Seoul-listed stocks through a single decentralized interface without needing to go through a conventional brokerage.
The launch adds to a growing list of tokenized stock products appearing on Arbitrum. Arbitrum has positioned itself as a finance-native Layer 2 platform, citing near-instant settlement speeds and low costs as key advantages for tokenization use cases.
