Bridge Building, the Luxembourg-registered entity behind Stripe-owned stablecoin infrastructure firm Bridge, has been added to the European Union’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) register following regulatory approval from Luxembourg authorities.
The addition raises the total number of MiCA-authorised electronic money token (EMT) issuers in the EU register to 42, according to the latest update published Wednesday by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA).
