Strive's Largest Bitcoin Purchase Since June

Strive (Nasdaq: $ASST) purchased 2,000 Bitcoin for roughly $169 million between September 28 and October 2, pushing its total holdings to 29,462 BTC, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The transaction was the company's largest single purchase since June.

The Vivek Ramaswamy-led treasury company bought the coins at an average price of $84,422 each, funded through its SATA preferred stock and warrant exercises.CEO Matt Cole confirmed that 61.5% of capital raised during the period came from SATA, and that warrant exercises generated $56.7 million.

The purchase brings Strive's Bitcoin holdings to 29,462 BTC, valued at approximately $2.55 billion based on Monday's intraday price of around $86,000.

Narrowing the Gap With MARA

Strive now trails MARA by 6,115 BTC, a gap that has narrowed considerably as Strive accelerates its accumulation pace. MARA's total Bitcoin treasury stands at 35,577 BTC, valued near $2.7 billion.

Strive's latest weekly purchase was about six times larger than Strategy's most recent 334 BTC addition, even though Strategy still controls a stack roughly 29 times Strive's size.

The Q3 accumulation run has been substantial. Strive bought another 2,000 BTC worth $168.84 million at an average price of $84,422, bringing its total Bitcoin purchases since August 24 to 8,106 BTC.As of September 30, Strive held 28,000 $BTC with a fair value of approximately $2.34 billion, acquired at an average cost basis of $90,170 per bitcoin, meaning the newest purchase came in well below the company's blended average entry price.

The buying spree reflects a broader trend among publicly listed companies treating Bitcoin as a primary treasury reserve asset, with Strive filing weekly accumulation disclosures with the SEC as it continues to close the distance on larger corporate holders.
