Arguspad, a token launchpad that went live alongside Circle's Arc mainnet, has passed 180,000 token launches. The platform, which operates with @arc, now reports more than 184,000 launches, over $455M in swap volume and more than $5.5M in $USDC paid out to users.
How Arguspad works on Arc
Arguspad, also known as Argus, is described in its official GitHub repository as a permissionless token launchpad for Arc, Circle's Layer 1 blockchain optimised for stablecoin finance. Each token launched through the platform opens a Uniswap v4 pool with a dedicated tax hook, and collected fees are redistributed natively in USDC.
The design differs from many memecoin launchpads. According to the same repository, there is no virtual bonding curve: the full token supply is deposited into a single v4 liquidity position. Creators can choose how fees are used, including payouts to creators, buybacks and burns, dividends to holders or added liquidity, so token economics vary from launch to launch.
Arc's memecoin activity since mainnet
Circle opened Arc's public mainnet on September 16, 2026. Cointelegraph reported that the chain uses USDC as its native gas asset and offers EVM compatibility and sub-second settlement finality.
Launchpads captured much of the early trading. BeInCrypto reported, citing Dune data, that memecoin launchpads drove 82% of Arc's $410.8 million first-day DEX volume. Arguspad handled $202.35 million of that and minted 83,751 tokens in 24 hours, more than 86% of all tokens created on the chain.
The latest figures suggest activity has continued beyond launch day. They have not been independently verified here. High launch counts also do not indicate token quality or lasting demand, and Argus has noted that reward settings are launch-specific, so traders should not assume every token on the platform offers the same tokenomics, as described in a DefiLlama adapter submission.
Whether Arc's memecoin market is just getting started or has already peaked will depend on whether volume and user payouts hold up as the novelty of the new chain fades.
