GameStop Goes Onchain
$GMEB, a tokenized representation of GameStop shares, is now listed on @PancakeSwap. The token was built by @Bstocksfinance on the @BNBCHAIN network, giving crypto traders direct exposure to one of the most closely watched and volatile stocks in traditional markets.
The listing means traders are no longer bound by U.S. stock exchange hours. With no market hour restrictions, there is no closing bell — users can trade when they want. That is a meaningful shift for an asset like GameStop, where price action can be rapid and sentiment-driven.
bStocks are tokenized U.S. securities issued as BEP-20 tokens on BNB Chain, with each token backed 1:1 by a real U.S. share held with a regulated custodian and verifiable via a Proof of Collateral page.Importantly, bStocks do not grant voting rights or direct legal shareholder status in the underlying companies.
Part of a Broader Tokenized Equity Push
The $GMEB listing is the latest addition to a rapidly expanding bStocks catalogue on @PancakeSwap. Binance reported that bStocks added $565.9 million in outstanding tokenized-equity value within seven weeks of its June 11 launch, having crossed $500 million in assets under management on July 28 after starting with just $5.6 million.
PancakeSwap has been expanding its tokenized equities offering, listing additional bStocks on BNB Chain to give users 24-hour access to shares of high-profile companies. The broader RWA tokenization sector grew from approximately $21 billion to an estimated $27.5 to $29 billion during Q1 2026 alone, excluding stablecoins, a rise of roughly 30 to 38% in a single quarter.
Analysts note that while tokenized real-world assets offer enhanced liquidity and capital efficiency, they introduce distinct structural risks. bStocks do not grant voting rights or direct legal shareholder status, and investors remain exposed to smart contract vulnerabilities, potential tracking errors relative to primary markets, and evolving regulatory frameworks across international jurisdictions.
