UNI Price Prediction: $90M Annual Burns Could Send UNI Toward New Highs
CryptoCompass editorial visual for markets coverage.
  • Uniswap dominates Robinhood Chain, capturing 76.5% of trading activity and generating substantial protocol fees.
  • Annual UNI burns approach $90 million, potentially removing nearly 4% of circulating supply yearly.
  • Rising competition remains a risk, despite stronger revenue and growing whale accumulation supporting UNI.

Uniswap — UNI, has gained a powerful catalyst through rising protocol revenue and token burns. UNI recently traded near $3.48 after falling around 3% in one day. Meanwhile, whale accumulation reached a five-year high during August. Uniswap also dominates trading activity on Robinhood Chain. That dominance generates substantial fees for the protocol. With annual burns approaching $90 million, UNI now has a stronger supply story. Investors must still consider competition and adoption risks.

Uniswap Revenue Fuels a Growing Burn Mechanism

Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick previously set a $100 target for UNI. The target implied a massive increase by 2030. Kendrick now believes $100 could prove too conservative. His updated view reflects stronger revenue and token-burning potential. Uniswap captured about 76.5% of Robinhood Chain trading activity. The chain launched on July 2 and quickly attracted substantial trading volume.

Such activity provides a direct revenue source for the protocol.Uniswap collected $1.81 million from the chain's $2.28 million daily fees. That represented a 78.8% share of total fees. Uniswap held only 16.3% of the chain's total locked value. A fee-sharing system launched in December 2025. The mechanism uses protocol revenue to purchase and burn UNI. A second switch went live for Robinhood Chain on July 27. That development effectively doubled the burn rate.

Kendrick estimates annualized burns now reach roughly $89 million to $90 million. At $3.48, that equals around 25.7 million UNI destroyed yearly. The amount represents nearly 4% of circulating supply. Uniswap launched with one billion UNI tokens. Roughly 109 million tokens have already been burned. Even at $6.50, annual burns could remove about 2.2% of supply.

Competition Could Challenge Uniswap's Dominance

Uniswap also launched Pools.trade on Robinhood Chain on August 5. The platform charges no additional launchpad fee for users. Liquidity providers receive the standard 0.25% cut. That pricing undercuts competitors charging around 1% for similar services. However, competition has already emerged within the ecosystem. Developer 0xDeployer is building a rival launchpad with SushiSwap.

SushiSwap currently handles only 0.45% of Robinhood Chain trading volume. Uniswap controls roughly 76.5% of that market. The gap shows Uniswap's current advantage, but rivals could gain ground. Between July 27 and August 12, daily revenue averaged $244,000. That figure marked a 2.4-fold increase from the previous period. The growth strengthens the argument for sustained token burns.

UNI still faces volatility and broader market risks. However, rising revenue gives the token a stronger fundamental narrative. Continued burns could gradually reduce supply while network activity expands. For bulls, that combination could support much higher valuations over time.
