XRP exchange-traded funds recorded $67.25 million in trading volume on October 8, according to data highlighted by crypto enthusiast XRP Update. The figure places the combined activity across the tracked XRP ETFs at a notable level, with Bitwise and Franklin Templeton accounting for most of the volume during the session.

XRP Update presented the figures on X alongside an XRP ETF tracker showing data for six U.S. spot XRP ETFs. The tracker showed XRP trading at $1.39, up 0.54% in 24 hours. It also recorded total ETF assets under management at approximately $1.69 billion and 1.188 billion XRP held in ETF vaults.

The post described the latest trading activity as a surge in XRP ETF volume and stated, “A MASSIVE $67.25 MILLION traded on October 8!”

Bitwise and Franklin Templeton Lead Trading

Bitwise recorded the largest volume among the ETFs shown in the tracker, reaching $31.17 million from approximately 1.97 million shares. Franklin Templeton followed with $28.96 million and about 1.88 million shares.

Canary Capital ranked third with $4.79 million in volume from roughly 319,240 shares. Grayscale recorded $1.71 million, while REX-Osprey posted about $490,380. 21Shares recorded approximately $133,450.

The tracker also showed a Week 41 net flow of 2.36 million XRP, representing about $3.27 million. The figures indicate that ETF activity included both trading volume and additional XRP flows during the period covered by the dashboard.

Reactions Focus on XRP’s Price

The post generated different reactions in the comments, with some users focusing on what the ETF activity could mean for XRP. In contrast, others questioned the significance of the volume relative to the broader market.

Bitcoin Long responded positively, writing, “I gotta buy a ton more $XRP like crazy,” signaling a bullish reaction to the reported ETF activity.

Anthony mickael Christopher took a more skeptical position. He responded, “Yes and the price is going nowhere XRP,” questioning why the reported ETF trading volume had not produced a stronger price move.

VALE agreed with that criticism and challenged the significance of the $67.25 million figure. Responding to Anthony, VALE wrote, “Exactly cause these clowns think 67M is a lot of money; this clown is literally highlighting 67M as if it’s 67 billion.”

The contrasting reactions show that the reported ETF volume remains a subject of interpretation among XRP market participants, with some focusing on institutional trading activity and others placing greater emphasis on its relationship with XRP’s price.
