@Cardano_CF has added a new course to its Cardano Academy: Agentic Coding on Cardano. The course is free, runs for roughly four hours, and is self-paced, keeping it in line with the Academy's broader approach to free, self-paced online blockchain education.
How the Course Works
Rather than writing code by hand from the start, learners direct an AI agent to produce it on their behalf. The critical step comes next: each output is checked against a 26-point list of known security flaws, giving developers a structured method for auditing AI-generated code before it goes anywhere near a live network.
Every module is validated with a real transaction on a Cardano test network. By the end, learners have built a seven-stamp onchain portfolio alongside a course credential they can point to as verifiable proof of completion.
Part of a Broader AI Push
The Agentic Coding course sits within a growing AI-focused curriculum at the Cardano Foundation. Earlier this year, the Cardano Academy launched a course titled AI and Blockchain for Business Leaders, developed in collaboration with the Blockchain Research Institute, covering how blockchain infrastructure supports verifiable AI systems.
The Foundation has also been expanding its reach beyond its own platform. Cardano Academy material is set to enter a UCLA Anderson blockchain course beginning in 2027. Meanwhile, the Academy now serves more than 10,000 learners across its expert-led certification courses.
For developers curious about where AI and blockchain intersect in practice, the Agentic Coding on Cardano course offers a low-barrier entry point, with the onchain portfolio providing something concrete to show for the time invested.
