Most financial products still separate conventional money from onchain assets. A user may receive income through a bank account, keep stablecoins in a separate wallet, use a card for everyday spending, and rely on another service to move between fiat and digital assets. Each tool may solve one part of the journey, but the full experience can become fragmented.

The Onchain Banking Account is designed to bring those pieces closer together. In the WeFi Deobanking Model, it acts as the main account layer for receiving, holding, transferring, and spending value across supported fiat and onchain environments. The goal is not to make users choose between bank rails and crypto networks, but to create an account structure where both can be used through one coordinated experience.

WeFi builds the infrastructure behind this model. Through WeFi, Deobanks can offer user-facing services that connect payment access, stablecoin-supported balances, account activity, card use, and onchain transaction logic.

What Is an Onchain Banking Account?

An Onchain Banking Account is the primary financial center in WeFi’s account architecture. It is designed to support everyday account activity such as receiving income, holding supported value, sending transfers, spending through a card, and connecting to digital asset networks.

Through participating Deobanks and WeFi infrastructure, the account can connect conventional payment systems with blockchain-based rails.

In practical terms, this means the account can support both bank-style activity and crypto-network activity from one account environment. The WeFi Card connects directly to this account, making it part of the spending layer as well as the account layer.

How It Fits Into the Trinity of Onchain Accounts

The Onchain Banking Account is part of what WeFi describes as the Trinity of Onchain Accounts. This structure includes three account types, each with a distinct role inside the Deobanking Model.

The Onchain Banking Account is the daily-use account. It connects to payment rails and crypto networks, supports income receipt and transfers, and links to the WeFi Card.

The Rewards Account is built for ecosystem rewards and participation mechanics. It can support CBM units, $WFI rewards, Energy farming, and distribution or transaction-based rewards inside the WeFi ecosystem.

The Credit Account connects to the Decentralized Credit System, or DCS. It is designed to support behavior-driven liquidity through scoring and credit logic.

Together, these accounts show that WeFi’s structure is not built around one isolated function. The Onchain Banking Account supports money movement and account access, while the Rewards Account and Credit Account expand the model into participation and credit-related utility.

How Dual-Rail Connectivity Works

The main idea behind the Onchain Banking Account is Dual-Rail Connectivity. Traditional finance and crypto networks usually operate in separate environments. Users often have to move between accounts, wallets, exchanges, cards, and payment services before they can complete a transaction.

The Onchain Banking Account is designed to connect both sides. On one side, it can interact with bank transfers, cards, local payment systems, and other conventional rails through Deobanks and partners. On the other side, it can connect to crypto networks and stablecoin reserves through WeFi infrastructure.

The purpose of the model is to make supported fiat and onchain activity less separate for users who need to receive, send, hold, or spend value across both environments.

Unified Balance at the Center

Unified Balance is the account concept that ties this together. It refers to a coordinated balance model where supported fiat-like and digital asset activity can be managed through one account experience.

Instead of requiring users to handle every conversion step manually, the account can support a balance connected to both conventional financial rails and stablecoin reserves. The user experience is intended to feel closer to one account rather than several disconnected systems.

Stablecoins play an important role in this structure. In WeFi’s architecture, Electronic Money Tokens such as EURC or USDC can represent underlying value, while the account experience connects that value to supported local currency activity and payment functions. It functions as a Reverse Collateralization Model, where synthetic local currency representation is anchored to onchain stablecoin reserves.

The key point is that the model is built to reduce unnecessary separation between fiat-like balances, onchain liquidity, settlement, and everyday payment activity.

Local and Global Account Variants

The Onchain Banking Account can be understood through two variants: Local and Global.

The Local variant is optimized for domestic financial activity. It can support local currency use, regional payment rails, local e-wallets, digital payment systems, and domestic transaction needs. This variant is useful where users need account functionality that fits local market behavior and compliance requirements.

The Global variant is designed for international activity. It can support worldwide transfers, major payment networks, global banking standards, liquidity providers, and cross-border settlement. This variant is relevant for users and businesses that operate across markets and need value to move between different financial systems.

Local and Global variants allow Deobanks to build account experiences that match domestic use cases, international use cases, or both.

How Settlement Works

Settlement is the process that links fiat activity with onchain value. In WeFi’s account model, the flow can be explained in two directions.

In inbound settlement, fiat is received through the relevant payment rail. The equivalent stablecoin-supported value is then reflected through the user’s Distributed Custody Wallet, depending on the supported process and partner setup.

In outbound settlement, stablecoin-supported value is debited or burned, and the Deobank executes the fiat transfer to the recipient through the relevant payment rails.

The important idea is that settlement is coordinated through an automated protocol rather than relying only on physical money movement across borders.

Practical Use Cases

The Onchain Banking Account is designed for users and builders who need financial tools that work across borders and systems.

● For remote professionals, it can support international income receipt and spending through the WeFi Card, depending on supported markets and account availability. ● For high-value asset holders, it can support banking-style access for larger transfers while reducing dependence on centralized exchange flows.

● For luxury markets, it can support use cases such as real estate purchases, luxury goods, and cross-border invoices where settlement visibility and account coordination matter.

● For cross-border commerce, it can help merchants and businesses operating across currency zones by connecting payment rails with stablecoin-supported settlement infrastructure.

● For ecosystem builders and Deobanks, it provides infrastructure for building tailored financial apps on WeFi rails without starting from a blank infrastructure stack.

Why It Matters for the Deobanking Model

The Onchain Banking Account shows how Deobanking connects account access with onchain financial infrastructure. It is not only a new screen for existing financial services. It is an account model built to coordinate payment access, stablecoin reserves, transaction settlement, wallet control, card spending, and ecosystem mechanics.

That makes the account more than a place to hold value. It becomes the financial base of the Deobanking Model: a way to connect everyday money activity with onchain rails, while giving Deobanks a foundation for building user-facing services on WeFi infrastructure.

About WeFi

WeFi is building onchain financial infrastructure for the Deobanking Model. Its technology connects blockchain settlement, account architecture, stablecoin-backed value, custody design, and Deobank-powered service delivery, giving financial providers a foundation to build more accessible financial services.

Through this infrastructure, Deobanks can create user-facing experiences that bring everyday financial actions closer to onchain assets, including payments, cross-border value movement, card-based spending, and long-term asset access. WeFi’s role is to provide the rails underneath these services, helping make onchain finance more usable without requiring users to manage unnecessary technical complexity.
