Six Tokens Go Live on Upbit's BTC and USDT Markets

Upbit, South Korea's largest crypto exchange by volume, has added six tokens to its platform in a single batch. The exchange confirmed listings for $CYS, $ICNT, $XAN, $EDEN, $AIOZ, and $ALLO across its BTC and USDT markets, with trading going live at 2:00 p.m. Korea Standard Time on August 10, 2026.

The six projects span a range of sectors within the crypto ecosystem, from compute infrastructure and decentralised finance to AI-related networks and lending protocols. The breadth of the batch is notable even by Upbit's standards, as the exchange typically adds assets on a rolling, individual basis.

Why an Upbit Listing Matters

Launched in 2017 by Dunamu Inc., Upbit quickly became one of the world's largest exchanges by trading volume and the dominant platform in South Korea. The exchange lists more than 200 cryptocurrencies and handles a significant share of the country's retail crypto activity.

South Korea is one of the most active crypto markets globally. Crystal Intelligence data puts the country's crypto user base at over 16 million, roughly one third of the total population. That scale means an Upbit listing carries real commercial weight, giving newly listed projects immediate access to a large and engaged retail base that can be difficult to reach through global platforms alone.

The listings come at a time of sustained activity on the platform. Upbit has been adding assets regularly through 2026, ranging from AI-focused tokens to regulated stablecoins such as Ripple USD (RLUSD), which went live on the exchange on July 28, 2026. For $CYS, $ICNT, $XAN, $EDEN, $AIOZ, and $ALLO, the move adds both liquidity depth and regional visibility in one of Asia's most consequential crypto markets.
