BNB Standard Corporation ($BNC) (@BNBStandard), a Nasdaq-listed company that manages what it describes as the world's largest corporate treasury of $BNB, will ring the Nasdaq (@Nasdaq) Opening Bell on October 26. CEO Alex Odagiu will lead the ceremony at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square, joined by directors, investors and ecosystem partners.
According to a company press release, the bell will ring at 9:30 a.m. ET, with Odagiu appearing alongside members of the board and management team. The event marks the company's new name and Odagiu's appointment as chief executive, which took effect on October 19.
From CEA Industries to BNB Standard
The company was previously known as CEA Industries. According to its SEC filing, it changed its corporate name to BNB Standard Corporation effective September 29, 2026, while its common stock continues to trade on the Nasdaq Capital Market under the ticker BNC. Crypto Briefing reported that the name was chosen after an advisory poll on X that drew 5,799 votes, with the winning name taking about 47% of the total. The votes were advisory rather than binding.
Crypto Briefing also reported that the company moved into the BNB ecosystem after a $500 million private placement in 2025. In a regulatory filing, the company said it held 515,544 BNB tokens with an aggregate fair value of $302.3 million at July 31, 2026, and that digital assets, primarily BNB, made up 93.1% of its total assets. The claim to be the world's largest corporate BNB treasury is the company's own description. The latest announcement did not include an updated token balance or valuation, according to Bitbase.
Odagiu has served as interim president and as a board member since June 2026. The company's October 19 release said he previously worked as an investment partner at YZi Labs and began his career in investment banking at Goldman Sachs International. Crypto.news reported that the leadership change followed a board restructuring that resolved a governance dispute with YZi Labs.
Validator plan on BNB Chain
Alongside the CEO appointment, BNB Standard said it plans to operate its own validator on BNB Chain (@BNBCHAIN), run with a specialist infrastructure partner under the company's governance. Bitbase reported that the company intends to choose the provider through a competitive process and keep treasury BNB with qualified custodians during staking. It also noted that validator rewards depend on network activity and operational performance, so the company has not guaranteed any level of income.
The company said it will report on the validator through its treasury dashboard once it is live on mainnet. Its latest annual-style prospectus filing noted that it had not staked any BNB through July 31, 2026.
