  • WLD rebounded from $0.46, defending $0.50 support amid rising buying pressure.
  • Growing derivatives activity and AI-related optimism helped fuel bullish momentum.
  • Holding above $0.50 could open a path toward $0.58 and $0.61.

Worldcoin is once again back to the spotlight after showing signs of recovery from a recent selloff. The token rebounded from a low near $0.46 and successfully defended support around $0.50. That move helped push the price toward a local high of $0.54 before settling near $0.52. Growing trading activity, rising derivatives interest, and fresh market narratives have all contributed to the renewed optimism surrounding WLD.

Three Factors Fueling Worldcoin’s Rebound

Recent market data points to stronger buying activity behind the latest move. Daily turnover climbed to roughly $174 million, adding more than $15 million within a single day. That increase suggests traders have returned to the market with greater confidence. Several analysts have identified key catalysts behind the recovery. One major factor comes from rising interest among South Korean retail traders.

Market observers noted that local trading activity surged significantly, helping boost overall demand for WLD. Short liquidations provided another source of momentum. As prices moved higher, bearish positions on major exchanges faced pressure. Those forced exits added further buying activity and helped accelerate the rally. The third driver centers on artificial intelligence developments. Market participants have renewed interest in initiatives linked to Sam Altman and digital identity verification.

Speculation surrounding World ID and possible connections within the OpenAI ecosystem has also attracted attention. These developments have encouraged investors to revisit the project's long-term potential. Market demand remains visible beyond price action. Spot Netflow has stayed negative for nine consecutive days. That pattern often suggests continued accumulation as more tokens leave exchanges than enter them.

Can WLD Hold Support and Extend Gains?

Derivatives traders have also become more active. Open Interest rose by 14.7% to $543 million, while derivatives volume jumped 86% to $1.1 billion. Higher volume combined with rising Open Interest often signals growing market participation and fresh position building. The Long Short Ratio climbed above 1 across tracked exchanges. That reading shows traders currently lean toward a bullish outlook.

Even so, technical indicators suggest caution remains necessary. The Stochastic Momentum Index recently formed a bullish crossover and moved higher. However, the indicator remains below zero. The Trend Strength Index tells a similar story. Both indicators continue improving, but sellers still maintain some control. This setup places the market at an important crossroads.

Buyers are attempting to build momentum, while sellers continue defending key levels. If demand remains strong, WLD could push above $0.58 and challenge resistance at $0.61. A successful move through those levels would strengthen the bullish case. On the downside, holding above $0.50 remains critical. A breakdown below that support could expose the price to another decline toward $0.45.
