July 2026 marked another defining chapter for the XDC Network as the ecosystem continued to expand across institutional finance, digital trade, payments, and artificial intelligence.

The month showcased XDC’s growing role as the infrastructure powering the next generation of programmable finance, highlighted by the launch of XDC AI, the opening of XDC’s London office, major institutional partnerships, and continued validator growth. These milestones reinforce XDC Network’s mission to bridge traditional finance with decentralized technologies while enabling the emerging era of agentic commerce.

Institutional adoption continued to gain momentum throughout July. Uphold became the first U.S. digital asset trading platform to introduce native on-chain XDC staking through its partnership with Kiln, giving its community of more than 10 million users access to flexible and boosted staking opportunities directly on the XDC Network. This represents another significant step toward making blockchain participation more accessible to both retail and institutional users while strengthening the utility of the XDC ecosystem.

The network’s decentralization also reached another milestone as NTT DOCOMO GLOBAL joined XDC Network as a Masternode validator. With the validator count increasing to 321, the network continues to enhance its security, resilience, and global infrastructure, further reinforcing the trust required for enterprise and institutional adoption.

Digital trade innovation also advanced significantly during the month. SBI XDC Network APAC successfully completed a proof of concept with TOPPAN, integrating the Verifiable Legal Entity Identifier (vLEI) into an online factoring workflow. By automating corporate identity verification and receivables authentication, the solution demonstrates how blockchain can streamline trade finance processes while reducing operational complexity and improving trust between participants.

SBI XDC Network APAC also announced a strategic collaboration with South Korea’s DSRV to accelerate enterprise blockchain adoption across Japan and Korea. The partnership will focus on trade finance, supply chain solutions, tokenization, and cross-border business applications, further strengthening XDC’s growing institutional presence throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

The ecosystem’s financial infrastructure expanded with the integration of Stablecoin, now part of Stripe. This integration brings comprehensive payment capabilities to the XDC Network, including fiat on- and off-ramps, virtual accounts, multicurrency custody, and near real-time stablecoin settlement. These capabilities make it easier for businesses and institutions to seamlessly move between traditional financial systems and blockchain-based payments.

Institutional trading infrastructure also continued to mature through Quote Trade’s native support for XDC and USDC. The platform enables private, on-chain trade execution for treasury management, hedging strategies, and market-making activities, providing institutions with greater efficiency and privacy while leveraging blockchain technology.

One of the most significant announcements of July was the official launch of XDC AI, a platform designed to power the future of agentic commerce. XDC AI enables autonomous AI agents to discover services, execute payments using USDC, and receive results without requiring human checkout or blockchain gas fees. Compatible with leading AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and Codex, XDC AI also empowers developers and businesses to monetize APIs and digital services using the x402 protocol. This milestone positions XDC Network at the forefront of the rapidly emerging intersection between artificial intelligence and programmable payments.

The launch of XDC AI was complemented by the inaugural XDC Network UK event held in London, marking the establishment of a new hub dedicated to Agentic AI and autonomous finance. The event brought together fintech innovators, enterprises, institutions, and policymakers to discuss the future of intelligent financial infrastructure. Distinguished speakers and attendees included Lord Ranger of Northwood, Lord Taylor of Warwick, and Adam Jackson of Innovate Finance and the Digital Pound Foundation, highlighting the growing institutional interest in AI-powered financial ecosystems.

Across the Atlantic, XDC Network also participated in AGENTIC FINANCE NYC, where industry leaders gathered to explore the future of AI-driven financial services. During the event, XDC Co-Founder Atul Khekade demonstrated the real-world capabilities of XDC AI by autonomously ordering and paying for a coffee using the platform. He also joined Fintech TV Global to discuss how XDC Network is building the payment rails that will enable the next generation of autonomous digital commerce.

The global outreach of the ecosystem continued with XDC’s participation in WebX 2026, one of Asia’s premier blockchain conferences. Beyond exhibiting at the main event, the team also participated in Blockchain Nexus #2 and the WebX Asia Side Event hosted by SBI VC Trade and B2C2. These engagements provided valuable opportunities to strengthen relationships with institutional partners, developers, investors, and blockchain leaders throughout the region.

The month concluded with XDC Network’s presence at the Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, where the team connected with developers, enterprises, and ecosystem partners to discuss advancements in blockchain infrastructure, artificial intelligence, tokenization, and institutional digital asset adoption.

Looking ahead, August promises another active month for the ecosystem. The XDC team will participate in several major industry events, including the Agentic Payments & Treasury Summit 2026 in Singapore, Paraguay Blockchain Summit 2026, the Treasury Leadership Forum hosted by Standard Chartered in Australia, Blockchain Leaders 2026 in Brazil, and Blockchain Rio 2026. These events continue XDC Network’s commitment to engaging with global institutions, innovators, developers, and policymakers while driving the adoption of blockchain-powered financial infrastructure.

As the ecosystem continues to evolve, July demonstrated that XDC Network is not only advancing institutional blockchain adoption but also pioneering the convergence of artificial intelligence, programmable payments, and decentralized infrastructure. With expanding partnerships, enterprise integrations, growing validator participation, and the launch of XDC AI, the foundation for the next era of agentic finance is rapidly taking shape. The momentum generated throughout July reinforces XDC Network’s position as a leading blockchain built for real-world utility, enterprise innovation, and the future of autonomous digital commerce.
