The company’s newly released Swell 2026 lineup includes senior executives from BNY, Intercontinental Exchange, TD Securities and Robinhood, alongside crypto companies, asset managers and payments firms. Ripple expects around 1,500 participants in New York and will combine Swell, the XRP Ledger-focused Apex summit and UBRI Connect under one event for the first time.

The interesting part is not simply the guest list. Each institution represents a different layer of the financial system Ripple increasingly wants to connect: custody, trading, liquidity, stablecoins, tokenized securities and consumer access.

BNY and ICE Bring Core Market Infrastructure

BNY’s Laide Majiyagbe will discuss how tokenized money-market funds, stablecoins, liquidity and settlement are changing institutional markets. The relationship is already more than theoretical: Ripple selected BNY as the primary custodian for RLUSD reserves in 2025.

That connection has become more relevant as RLUSD reserves recently reached about $2.53 billion, with circulating supply above $2.4 billion.

ICE brings another part of the market stack. Michael Blaugrund, its VP of Strategic Initiatives and former NYSE COO, is scheduled to discuss institutional adoption spanning tokenized equities, onchain funds and collateral.

TD Securities and Robinhood Extend the Conversation

TD Securities’ Elizabeth St-Onge will join a stablecoin discussion focused on whether future digital money will be dominated by individual issuers or consortium-based models.

That question sits directly beside Ripple’s growing stablecoin business. RLUSD is increasingly being used as part of a broader institutional liquidity stack involving payments, tokenized assets and proposed XRPL lending infrastructure.

Robinhood represents the distribution side. Its crypto chief Johann Kerbrat will join Ripple President Monica Long to discuss how retail and institutional access to digital assets are converging.
