XRP price is trading near $1.00 at press time. The token has been hovering around this critical level for weeks, with bulls and bears fighting for control. The price action has been ugly – lower highs, lower lows, and a grinding decline that has tested the patience of even the most committed holders.
CasiTrades, an analyst I like to cover on CaptainAltcoin, decided to weigh in on XRP price action again. Her plan is clear, and it is worth paying attention to.
The Plan: Buy at $0.94, Target $0.87
CasiTrades tweeted: “I’m Moving My Buy to $0.94! Remember, I am NOT trying to capture the exact bottom. I want my ENTIRE order filled! Do I still think $0.87 prints on the chart? YES. That’s still my target, and obviously I’d love to buy XRP there. But I’m not trying to be cute and perfectly catch the wick after waiting MONTHS (years?) for this opportunity.”
Her logic is straightforward. The $0.94 level aligns with a strong Fibonacci confluence zone – both the 0.618 retracement and the 1.618 extension point to roughly the same price. That is a “good-enough” entry point. The $0.87 target remains the final wave (5) low.
Current wave count: Wave (1) down to roughly $1.05, wave (2) up to roughly $1.11. A nested sub-count is now visible, showing price grinding down through the 0.236, 0.382, and 0.5 retracement levels. Current price sits right around the 0.236 retracement at $1.0200, just below it.
Source: X/@CasiTradesThe forward projection:
- Wave (3) target: $0.94 – converging with two Fibonacci confluences (0.618 retracement at 0.9411 and 1.618 extension at 0.9414)
- Wave (4) bounce: Projected relief rally back up toward roughly $0.99
- Wave (5) final target: **$0.85–0.86** – matching the $0.87 target almost exactly
The RSI is currently at 37.93 – not yet oversold, still has room to fall further, which is consistent with the idea that more XRP price downside is possible before a durable low forms.

More Crypto Online: A More Bearish XRP Price Prediction
A second analyst, More Crypto Online, has a considerably more bearish Elliott Wave count. This is worth flagging because two “expert” counts disagree sharply on downside targets.
Source: X/@MorecryptoonlThe wave count (larger degree):
- Wave (1) down to the $1.00 area (June low)
- An A-B-C corrective bounce for wave (2), topping in the $1.19–$1.42 zone – but marked with a question mark, meaning even the chart’s author isn’t fully committed to this wave (2) having completed
- Wave (3) projected as a major decline, with a wave (5) target around $0.68–0.72 by November
This is a much larger and more aggressive bearish target than CasiTrades’ $0.85–0.94 zone.
Comparing the two XRP charts:

This is a good illustration of why Elliott Wave counts should be treated cautiously. Two different analysts, looking at the same asset in the same week, are projecting final lows nearly 20% apart. Both cannot be “the” correct wave count – they are two competing interpretations of the same price data.
My Take: XRP Price Action Is Ugly
I do not like the XRP price action right now. The token is testing $1.00, and the broader trend remains down. The Clarity Act is delayed. Polymarket odds for a drop below $1 are still elevated. Bitcoin ETF outflows are weighing on sentiment.
The $0.94 level is a reasonable entry zone for a disciplined trader. The Fibonacci confluence is real. But buying at $0.94 means buying mid-decline, not at the bottom. A further leg down to $0.87 is possible, and CasiTrades is honest about that trade-off.
More Crypto Online’s $0.68–$0.72 target is a reminder that the downside could be deeper than most expect. The question mark on his wave 2 label is a warning – even the chart author is not fully confident in the count.
For now, I am watching the $1.00 level. If it breaks, the next big support is $0.94 – CasiTrades’ buy zone. Below that, $0.87 comes into play. The XRP price prediction from both analysts is bearish in the short term, with final lows between $0.87 and $0.68.
