XRP is drawing renewed attention after independent crypto strategist EGRAG CRYPTO identified a critical shift in its Relative Strength Index (RSI), suggesting that the digital asset could be entering a more robust momentum phase. The analyst highlighted the RSI’s strong rebound, which surpassed earlier expectations by breaking through a key level he associates with the continuation of a bull market trend.

RSI recovery exceeds expectations

EGRAG CRYPTO uses the 53 level on the RSI as a marker for ongoing bull momentum in XRP’s macro setup. While he initially anticipated the RSI to recover from 47 to the 50 region, he noted that the indicator instead demonstrated “stronger than expected” upward movement, passing through several important thresholds.

Momentum is stronger than expected, with the RSI reclaiming a key level previously seen as the bull threshold in this market structure.

The Relative Strength Index is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and magnitude of recent price changes, using a scale from 0 to 100. Typically, readings above 70 indicate asset overbought conditions, while levels below 30 suggest oversold status, though mid-range benchmarks can act as support or resistance for asset trends.

Mini dictionary: RSI (Relative Strength Index), a technical indicator widely used in trading that assesses whether an asset is overbought or oversold by evaluating recent price performance on a 0–100 scale.

The significance of the 47–53 range

The analyst pointed to the 47 level as the base for the current setup, referencing it as a historical cycle low for XRP’s RSI. XRP’s move from 47 toward 50 marked an early sign of improving market structure, but EGRAG emphasized the greater importance now lies in holding levels above 53.

Repeated historical reactions around the 50 region form the foundation of his current analysis, with the upward push beyond 53 regarded as a meaningful signal of advancing momentum. If the RSI maintains its position above this threshold, EGRAG suggests it could lay the groundwork for further gains.

Outlook: path to stronger momentum

EGRAG CRYPTO projects that continued progress above the 53 RSI mark could see XRP’s RSI heading toward 60, then 70, and ultimately 80. Each rise within these bands is viewed as a distinct acceleration of bullish strength, pushing the asset into more prominent macro momentum territory.

He notes that prior market cycles for XRP have frequently included retests after an initial breakout of key RSI levels. For this reason, EGRAG regards sustained movement above 53—and successful retests of that support—as pivotal milestones for the next phase in XRP’s price trajectory.

If XRP’s RSI remains above 53, additional upside momentum could build, potentially setting the stage for a larger macro rally.

A move beyond the 80 RSI level would represent the upper bounds of EGRAG’s current outlook, indicating that XRP could enter a phase of exceptional momentum if intermediate resistances are successfully overcome.
