XRP has attracted renewed attention in the market following a surge of inflows into US spot XRP exchange-traded funds, with the digital asset trading just above $1.50.

ETF inflows support XRP

Between September 22 and September 24, spot XRP ETFs in the United States registered net inflows totaling $52.95 million. These include a $9.91 million inflow to the Bitwise XRP ETF on September 24 and a $4.98 million addition to the Franklin XRP ETF during the same period.

These inflows arrive after a phase of relatively low activity and are seen as a revival in demand for regulated XRP investment vehicles. Recent filings indicate expanding ETF product offerings, such as the Ultra XRP ETF by ProShares, which is among the suite of cryptocurrency-focused ETFs now available in the US.

ProShares is a well-known asset manager specializing in exchange-traded funds that give investors structured exposure to various asset classes.

Mini dictionary: ProShares, a leading US ETF provider, manages a wide range of products including cryptocurrency ETFs, such as Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP), which offers leveraged exposure to the daily movements of the Bloomberg XRP Index.

XRP spot ETFs in the US recorded $52.95 million in combined net inflows between September 22 and September 24, led by products from Bitwise and Franklin, highlighting rising investor demand for regulated XRP access.

Technical signals and key price levels

XRP’s price recently pulled back from a high of $1.63 and is now preparing to close the week near its 50-week exponential moving average. The digital asset is currently trading at $1.54, with a 24-hour trading volume of $5.18 billion and a market capitalization of $96.83 billion. Over the last 24 hours, XRP has declined by 1.89%.

Analysis indicates that the price is consolidating within the $1.50 to $1.60 zone, which has become a focal point for market participants. ChartNerd, an independent market analyst, described the $1.55 mark as a significant liquidity level, noting that the price has recently crossed liquidity from the previous trading session. Neutral funding rates and a reduction in trading volume over the weekend have also been observed around these levels.

A look at technical indicators shows the middle, upper, and lower Bollinger Bands for XRP stand at $1.41871, $1.60015, and $1.23727, respectively. XRP is trading between the middle and upper bands. The MACD indicator remains positive, with the MACD line at 0.05898, the signal line at 0.04501, and a histogram value of 0.01397.

Indicator Level/Value Current Price $1.54 Volume (24h) $5.18 billion Market Cap $96.83 billion Support $1.50 Resistance $1.60, $1.63 Bollinger Bands Lower: $1.23727, Middle: $1.41871, Upper: $1.60015 MACD MACD: 0.05898, Signal: 0.04501, Histogram: 0.01397

If XRP advances above $1.60, the next resistance sits at $1.63. A decline below $1.50 would increase pressure on the lower end of its trading range. Market observers continue to watch the $1.55 area as a key liquidity zone, while the upper range remains capped by resistance at $1.60.

ChartNerd emphasized the importance of the $1.55 liquidity level and the neutral funding environment amid subdued weekend volume, underscoring a stable price range from $1.50 to $1.60.

Leveraged ETF developments

ProShares’ Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP) is designed to provide investors with leveraged exposure equivalent to twice the daily movement of the Bloomberg XRP Index. Unlike spot ETFs, UXRP is a leveraged product, which means its returns can differ significantly from holding XRP directly.

UXRP adds another dimension for those seeking aggressive exposure to XRP price movements within a regulated ETF structure.

Recent SEC filings indicate that ProShares has registered both a standard XRP ETF and the leveraged UXRP fund, but these are not currently offered for trading. Market participants are closely monitoring these developments as the US ETF landscape for digital assets continues to evolve.

The interplay of regulated investment flows and critical technical levels has placed XRP in the spotlight as traders await the next decisive move outside the current consolidation zone.
