  • XRP's narrowing triangle sets the scene for three Fibonacci projections, with targets at $8, $13, and $27 before 2030.
  • Historical gains in XRP have resulted in significant volume surges, but the recent pullback from the highs has seen the volume diminish.
  • CME leads XRP futures open interest at $509.26 million, narrowly ahead of Binance, while Binance tops reported volume and trade counts.

XRP price predictions have been extended to 2030, with a long-term triangle and Fibonacci extensions identifying three potential price levels that traders are looking at.

A Narrowing Triangle Frames the XRP Forecast

According to ChartNerd's post, XRP is a clean long term setup, and has Fibonacci extensions at $8, $13, and $27. The levels correspond to the 1.272, 1.414, and 1.618 extensions. The chart designates $8 as conservative, $13 as optimistic, and $27 as a maximum-euphoria scenario.

The triangle spans several market cycles, with its upper boundary falling from the 2018 peak. Its lower boundary rises from earlier lows, leaving less room between the two lines. XRP is approaching the tighter part of this formation, where a break in either direction could change the chart's outlook.

An earlier advance is marked as a measured move, offering a reference for the projected targets. That label links past price expansion with the current long-term structure. This is not a prediction that XRP will follow a similar path or attain the suggested price points.

The $8 is the closest of the three targets but still far behind. The $13 level would extend the move further, while $27 sits well above both projections. Each target remains conditional on price action rather than a fixed timetable.

Trading Volume Has Fallen From Earlier Peaks

The historical volume chart records sharp bursts of activity during XRP's major price swings. One of the largest spikes appears around November and December, approaching $80 billion. Further surges followed in January and February, as the price moved through a volatile period.

XRP later climbed toward $3.50 around July and August on the displayed chart. Volume rose during that advance, then eased as the price fell toward the $1.50 region. The latest reading sits around 1.40–1.50, with activity well below the earlier peaks.

Exchange figures show Binance leading the displayed XRP volume ranking at $776.38 million. MEXC follows at $446.22 million, while OKX and Bybit each record about $256 million. The figures show how reported activity is spread across several trading venues.

Binance also leads the futures trade-count chart, with approximately two million trades. BingX records 620,910, followed by Bybit at 609,640. Trade counts measure how often transactions occur, not the total value traded on each platform.

Futures Data Adds Context to the Long-Term Setup

CME holds approximately $509.26 million in XRP futures open interest, just ahead of Binance at $491.57 million. Bybit followed with $302.43 million, while MEXC recorded $290.96 million. The figures show substantial outstanding futures positions across multiple exchanges.

Open interest refers to the number of contracts that are not yet settled, and volume refers to the total number of contracts traded in a specific time frame. These two figures alone do not indicate the general trend of the market. The information hence does not validate a price increase, but rather complements the chart.

The rising green trendline is another level to watch as the triangle tightens. Holding above it would preserve the support structure shown in the chart.A continuation of this significant support level move down would be a sign of a loss of bull momentum.

Technical levels overlap in shaded areas above the current level of the chart. For the higher estimates, XRP will have to navigate through these areas. Advance may be impeded or it may have pullbacks in between due to resistance.

The chart is a long term chart and not a trading signal. The $8, $13 and $27 levels are all based on a breakout and upward movement. The targets are projections, and not guaranteed outcomes, until there is confirmation of price.
