A record 103,000 Zcash (@Zcash) $ZEC now sits on Solana (@solana) $SOL, making it the largest bridged pool of Zcash on the network. Most of the tokens arrive through the OmniBridge from NEAR (@NEARProtocol) $NEAR. The record is based on token count, not dollar value.
According to Crypto Briefing, the bridged supply stood at about 103,000 tokens in late October 2026, worth roughly $124 million. The outlet reported that this follows earlier highs of about 86,643 ZEC in May 2026 and about 97,942 ZEC in mid-September 2026.
The September peak carried a higher dollar value, at roughly $132 million, despite involving fewer tokens. In other words, more ZEC has moved onto Solana, but each token was worth more a month and a half ago.
Holders of the OmniBridge version of ZEC have also surged. Crypto Briefing reported the count grew from roughly 17,000 in late June 2026 to more than 152,000 by late October 2026.
The Solana-based tokens are a bridged representation of ZEC. As TokenPost noted, the record balance refers to tokens on Solana and does not change Zcash's native supply cap of 21 million coins.
The route was opened in October 2025. Messari records that Zcash announced the Zolana bridge on October 17, 2025, connecting the Zcash, Solana and NEAR networks and enabling ZEC transfers to Solana using NEAR's OmniBridge and Chain Signatures technology.
OmniBridge is not the only route. Crypto Briefing said a second variant, zenZEC, built on Zenrock's multi-party computation system, launched on October 31, 2025 and has passed $15 million in cumulative volume. It uses a different security model aimed at the same goal of getting ZEC onto Solana.
Because the record is measured in tokens rather than dollars, it reflects growing use of the bridge rather than a new price high for the asset.
