Crypto’s fall conference calendar stretches from Europe to Asia, bringing together builders, founders, financial institutions, investors and policymakers. While the industry’s largest conferences tend to dominate attention, some of the most interesting conversations are happening at more focused gatherings centered on payments, tokenization, infrastructure and real-world blockchain adoption.

Here are five crypto events to have on your radar this fall.

1. Meridian 2026

October 28–29, 2026 | Lisbon, Portugal

Meridian 2026, Stellar’s annual flagship conference, returns to Lisbon for two days exploring the technologies and ideas shaping the future of global finance. The event will take place at Convento do Beato and feature keynotes, fireside chats, technical sessions, workshops and ecosystem showcases.

The conference brings together a mix of blockchain builders and traditional financial players. This year’s announced speakers include Anthony Scaramucci of SkyBridge Capital, Nadine Chakar, Global Head of DTCC Digital Assets, Michael Shaulov, CEO and co-founder of Fireblocks, Ginger Baker, VP of Product Management at Meta, and Jamie Walker, Head of Digital Assets and Money Movement at U.S. Bank.

The broader program begins with a networking event on October 27 before the main conference opens the following morning. With conversations spanning payments, digital assets and the infrastructure connecting blockchain with traditional finance, Meridian offers a more focused alternative to the mega-conference format.

2. MERGE Madrid 2026

October 27–29, 2026 | Madrid, Spain

MERGE Madrid brings the crypto, fintech and traditional finance communities together in the Spanish capital.

The event begins with an Institutional Summit at the Bolsa de Madrid on October 27, followed by the main conference at Palacio de Cibeles on October 28–29. Organizers expect more than 5,000 attendees from over 40 countries, with more than 200 speakers from organizations including Santander, Ripple, Mastercard, BBVA and Aave Labs.

Its positioning at the intersection of Web3 and established finance makes MERGE particularly relevant for anyone following institutional adoption, regulation, tokenization and the growing overlap between crypto and banking.

3. TUM Blockchain Conference 2026

October 29–31, 2026 | Munich, Germany

Organized by the TUM Blockchain Club, the TUM Blockchain Conference is a more community and builder-focused event taking place at Munich’s House of Communication.

The three-day program combines a main conference day with a Digital Assets Day and a two-day blockchain and AI hackathon. Digital Assets Day, curated by German blockchain association Bundesblock, will bring together financial institutions, regulators, policymakers and digital-asset companies.

Topics include stablecoins and payments, tokenization and RWAs, digital capital markets, regulation, custody, identity and institutional blockchain infrastructure. Last year’s conference attracted more than 1,200 attendees and 125 speakers, giving it meaningful scale without becoming another massive industry gathering.

4. Devcon 8

November 3–6, 2026 | Mumbai, India

Devcon 8 brings Ethereum’s global developer community to Mumbai for four days in November.

Rather than focusing primarily on investment and dealmaking, Devcon is built around the people developing decentralized and open systems. Developers, researchers and ecosystem teams gather to discuss the technical and social challenges surrounding Ethereum and the broader decentralized technology ecosystem.

Mumbai also gives this year’s edition a different geographic focus. The Ethereum Foundation highlights India’s large engineering and open-source communities as a key reason for bringing Devcon to the country.

For anyone more interested in what is actually being built than the latest market narrative, Devcon remains an important stop on the crypto calendar.

5. Solana Breakpoint 2026

November 15–17, 2026 | London, UK

Solana Breakpoint heads to London for the first time this November, taking over Olympia Convention Centre for three days.

The 2026 edition is centered on what organizers call the “Token Supercycle,” with programming focused on stablecoins, tokenized assets, payments, AI-driven economic activity and the growing role of onchain infrastructure in global markets.

More than 8,000 attendees from over 100 countries are expected, including builders, financial institutions, investors, technology companies and policymakers. A series of ecosystem events will also take place around the main conference, including a Solana Hacker House running from November 1–12.

Crypto’s Fall Calendar Goes Beyond the Mega-Conferences

This fall’s crypto calendar shows just how diverse the industry has become. Meridian brings together blockchain and global finance in Lisbon, MERGE connects Web3 with European financial institutions, TUM puts builders and digital-asset policy in the spotlight, while Devcon and Breakpoint offer deeper access to two major blockchain ecosystems.

For founders, developers, investors and financial professionals looking beyond the biggest industry gatherings, these five events offer very different windows into where crypto and blockchain technology are heading next.
