Kite’s KITE token’s planned unlocking tomorrow is attracting attention due to its size. According to Tokenomist’s weekly report published today, restrictions on approximately $75.5 million worth of tokens will be lifted.
The report states that this amount corresponds to 26.76 percent of the circulating supply. The dollar value is based on the prices used in preparing the report.
The key aspect of this rollout is that it concerns the founding team and private investor groups. Tokenomist reports that this will be the first distribution for these categories since the token issuance event in November 2025, thus ending the initial 12-month waiting period.
The unlocks allow holders to transfer their tokens. The exact amount to be sent to exchanges and the amount to be held will be determined in subsequent transactions.
The KITE token, which is also traded on Binance and Coinbase, experienced a 5.62% loss in the last 24 hours. Over the past month, the loss has exceeded 25%.
