US-based investment giant Morgan Stanley continues its expansion into the cryptocurrency investment products sector.
Lastly, the company’s investment management arm, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, announced the launch of two new ETFs focused on Ethereum and Solana.
At this point, Morgan Stanley stated that, based on previously received SEC approval, the Ethereum and Solana ETFs would begin trading on the NYSE Arca.
“Morgan Stanley Ethereum Trust (MSSE) and Morgan Stanley Solana Trust (MSOL) have begun trading on the New York Stock Exchange Arca (NYSE Arca).”
These two products track the price movements of Ethereum and Solana, respectively.
Additionally, the ETH and SOL ETFs follow the Morgan Stanley Bitcoin Trust (NYSE Arca: MSBT), the first cryptocurrency ETP offered by a US bank-affiliated asset manager, which was launched earlier this year and manages over $381 million in assets until July 16, 2026.
Morgan Stanley management stated that the recent ETH and SOL ETF launches are part of an effort to expand its product portfolio to meet investor demand.
The most important feature that distinguishes these products offered by Morgan Stanley from other traditional crypto investment vehicles is their staking support. The company aims to provide investors with additional returns by staking a certain portion of their Ethereum and Solana assets. Finally, the company added that it will not retain any portion of the rewards earned by either ETF.
