ABTC stock rose 4.62% to $5.72 on Monday after American Bitcoin reported record quarterly mining production, even as the company posted a $57.2 million second-quarter net loss.

American Bitcoin Reports Record BTC Production

American Bitcoin mined 932 BTC in the second quarter, marking its highest quarterly production since launch. The total rose from 817 BTC in the first quarter, showing a 14% quarter-over-quarter increase.

The company’s Bitcoin reserve grew to about 8,002 BTC as of June 30. Eric Trump later said the reserve had increased to roughly 8,300 BTC after the quarter ended.

Satoshis per share rose 11% to 10,989 during the quarter. Bitcoin holdings increased 14%, while shares outstanding grew about 3% over the same period.

Eric Trump, co-founder and chief strategy officer, said, “Q2 2026 was our strongest quarter of Bitcoin production yet.” He added that American Bitcoin is now the 16th-largest publicly traded Bitcoin company in the world.

Revenue Misses Forecasts as Net Loss Narrows

American Bitcoin reported mining revenue of about $67.0 million in the second quarter. The figure rose 8% from $62.1 million in the first quarter but missed expectations of $73.8 million.

The company posted a net loss of $57.2 million, or a loss of $0.80 per share. Analysts had expected earnings of $0.15 per share, making the result weaker than market estimates.

Management said the loss mainly reflected unrealized losses on Bitcoin holdings during the quarter. The company’s net loss improved from $81.8 million in the first quarter.

Revenue per Bitcoin mined fell about 5% quarter over quarter to nearly $71,900. The decline came as Bitcoin prices weakened during the same period.

Gross margin held close to 50%, while general and administrative costs totaled about $7.7 million. Those costs represented nearly 11% of revenue, remaining close to the first-quarter level.

CEO Mike Ho said, “Despite Bitcoin headwinds in Q2, we stayed focused on what we can control.” He added that the company delivered record production and grew its strategic reserve.

ABTC Stock Rebounds Near 52-Week Low

American Bitcoin Class A shares traded at $5.72 on Nasdaq, up 4.62% intraday. The move showed a small rebound after the stock traded near its 52-week low of $4.92.

ABTC remains under pressure after a recent 1-for-15 reverse stock split completed in July 2026. The stock’s 52-week range stands between $4.92 and $217.80.

The company ended the quarter with 89,242 owned miners, representing 28.1 EH/s of total capacity. Its operational fleet reached 58,999 miners, producing 25.0 EH/s.

American Bitcoin completed the full energization of 11,298 next-generation miners in April. The machines were deployed at Hut 8’s Drumheller site and added about 3.05 EH/s.

The cost to mine Bitcoin reached about $36,500 per BTC in the second quarter. That compared with about $36,200 per BTC in the previous quarter.

American Bitcoin continues to follow a no-sale reserve strategy while expanding its mining platform. Meanwhile, American Bitcoin also reported a leadership change after the quarter. Long-time President Matt Prusak announced on August 3, 2026, that he would leave the company to join AI infrastructure firm Giga Energy. Investors are now watching whether higher BTC production can offset price weakness, losses, and pressure on ABTC stock.
