American Bitcoin mined 932 BTC in Q2 2026, the company's highest quarterly production on record, up from about 817 BTC in the prior quarter as newly energized machines lifted the miner's output and pushed its bitcoin treasury past 8,000 BTC.

American Bitcoin hit a quarterly production record in Q2 2026

American Bitcoin said it produced about 932 BTC during the three months ended June 30, 2026, which it described as its highest quarterly production since the company began operating. For related coverage, see Bitcoin Hits $62,000 as Coinbase Premium Stays Negative for 77 Days.

That marked an increase from the roughly 817 BTC mined in Q1 2026. The company said Q2 output represented about 26% of all bitcoin it has mined since its March 31, 2025 launch, reflecting how much of its production has been concentrated in recent quarters. The figures were disclosed in the company's second-quarter results, released August 3, 2026. For related coverage, see Tether Invests $20 Million in Brazil's Mercado Bitcoin: What It Means.

Reserve growth pushed American Bitcoin's holdings above 8,000 BTC

The stronger production fed directly into treasury growth. American Bitcoin said its bitcoin holdings rose to about 8,002 BTC on June 30, 2026, from roughly 7,021 BTC at the end of March, an increase of about 981 BTC, or roughly 14%, in a single quarter. American Bitcoin's treasury crossing 8,000 BTC came on the back of that record output, a milestone covered in reporting on how the treasury topped 8,000 BTC after the record quarter.

Satoshis per share, a per-share measure of bitcoin backing, increased about 11%, from roughly 9,943 to roughly 10,989 over the quarter. The company framed the reserve expansion as the balance-sheet result of higher mining output rather than of open-market purchases.

Q2 operating metrics show how the mining platform supported the record output

Mining revenue for Q2 2026 was about $67.0 million, up roughly 8% from $62.1 million in Q1 2026. Revenue per bitcoin mined was about $71,900, down about 5% from the prior quarter, while the cost to mine held roughly flat at about $36,500 per bitcoin versus about $36,200 in Q1.

The company attributed the higher output to fleet expansion, saying it fully energized about 11,298 next-generation miners in April 2026, adding around 3.05 EH/s of capacity. At quarter-end, its total owned fleet stood at about 89,242 miners with roughly 28.1 EH/s of capacity.

American Bitcoin's report was among the crypto-sector earnings watched this period, part of a run of company updates flagged in coverage of the week ahead for jobs data and crypto earnings.
