Turkish crypto analyst Celal Kucuker has presented a bullish forecast for XRP, indicating a 56.8% potential rise in the near term with price targets of $2.18 and $2.56. Kucuker’s analysis, based on Fibonacci retracement levels, stands out for its moderation compared to more ambitious projections circulating on social media, which have speculated on XRP reaching $10 or higher.

Technical outlook and price targets

Kucuker’s projection builds on XRP’s previous upward move, when the token advanced from approximately $0.99 to $1.55 before pulling back to $1.25 and then rebounding toward the upper boundary of that range. He identifies $2.18 as the 1.0 Fibonacci level, suggesting it could serve as an initial target if the current momentum continues. The next significant level outlined in his analysis is $2.56, which matches the 1.38 Fibonacci retracement mark.

He also points to resistance at $2.40, where previous rallies have encountered strong selling pressure. Commenting on the present situation with XRP trading over $1.50, Kucuker notes that neither bullish nor bearish sentiment currently dominates the market.

XRP’s price movement suggests the market is undecided, with no clear control by buyers or sellers as it trades above $1.50. The $2.18 and $2.56 Fibonacci levels provide realistic near-term targets if momentum builds.

XRPL upgrades to serve enterprises

XRP Ledger (XRPL) developers are preparing for two major network upgrades, with a focus on enhancing the ecosystem for enterprise users. The XLS-56 feature is designed to reduce the risk of commercial funds becoming inaccessible if one party in a settlement fails to meet obligations. Meanwhile, the XLS-75 feature aims to strengthen the ecosystem’s compliance with banking security standards.

Two core functionalities, Permission Delegation and Batch, are scheduled for rollout pending validator votes, with the mainnet upgrade expected to launch within 10 days. These updates will enable corporate users of XRPL to assign permissions and operational roles more efficiently while introducing trustless atomic transaction execution, which is crucial for complex financial operations.

Mini dictionary: XRP Ledger (XRPL), developed by Ripple, is a decentralized blockchain protocol designed for fast and cost-effective transfers, often used by enterprises and financial institutions for cross-border payments.

XRP ETF inflow and market context

In another notable development for XRP, spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based in the United States attracted roughly $75.6 million in new capital over the past week. This influx has raised the total net assets managed by US spot XRP ETFs to $1.77 billion, distinguishing XRP as a leading altcoin backed by institutional investment outside of the Ethereum ecosystem.

Spot XRP ETFs in the US now manage $1.77 billion in assets, reflecting increased Wall Street interest and elevating XRP’s position among non-Ethereum altcoins.
