Arbitrum has deepened its foray into tokenized traditional assets, overtaking Ethereum in holdings of a major euro-denominated fund managed by Amundi, as interest in institutional adoption on blockchain networks continues to grow. While the ARB token maintains its footing above a critical support level, analysts are watching closely for a possible breakout that could signal renewed momentum.

Arbitrum surpasses Ethereum in tokenized fund exposure

According to data from MSB Intel, Arbitrum holds $158.86 million of the euro share class in SAFO, a tokenized fund managed by the prominent asset manager Amundi. Amundi currently oversees nearly €2.6 trillion in assets under management. Over the past 90 days, Arbitrum’s share in the fund rose by 103.68%, marking more than double Ethereum’s $64.17 million position in the same category.

These figures underscore Arbitrum’s growing presence in the sphere of tokenized traditional financial products, where blockchain-based representations of funds are aimed at improving efficiency in transfers and settlement of assets. While the adoption of tokenized fund products signals increasing institutional engagement, the reported holdings do not automatically translate into direct revenue for Arbitrum or additional demand for the ARB token.

The ongoing competition among blockchain networks to attract traditional financial assets has become especially prominent, with Amundi’s involvement considered significant because of its management scale and influence in global markets.

Arbitrum currently leads the race in the euro share class of Amundi’s SAFO fund, holding more than twice the amount seen on Ethereum, highlighting an accelerating trend of institutional adoption in blockchain-based finance.

It is important to note, however, that this comparison pertains specifically to the euro share class of the tokenized fund, not the broader tokenized assets sector. Both Arbitrum and Ethereum are represented in this traditional financial product, underscoring expanding experimentation across leading blockchain networks.

Key technical levels for ARB price

On the price front, market analyst Bitcoin Meraklisi identified a crucial support level at $0.1733 for ARB, suggesting this point serves as a linchpin for the token’s current trajectory. If ARB maintains this level, optimism for further gains persists. The next major resistance is at $0.23, defined by Meraklisi as the neckline in an inverse head-and-shoulders chart pattern— a widely cited formation in technical analysis signifying potential bullish reversal.

Breaking above $0.23 and the prevailing trendline, which ARB has tested unsuccessfully four times since its introduction, would further bolster confidence in a sustained rebound. Meraklisi noted that confirmation of upside potential hinges on a breakout above these thresholds, while losing the $0.1733 support could undermine near-term sentiment.

Analyst targets $1.19 and $2.21 if breakout confirmed

Should ARB clear both the neckline and trendline, Meraklisi outlined ambitious target levels at $1.19 and $2.21. These prices would require a significant technical breakout combined with favorable market momentum and sustained investor interest.

Technical analysts caution that holding above $0.1733 remains critical to maintain upward momentum for ARB, with any sustained breach risking a notable downside move.

Whether the broader adoption of tokenized traditional assets on Arbitrum can translate directly to ARB token price gains remains uncertain. Analysts stress that technical setups, momentum indicators, and ongoing shifts in overall crypto market sentiment will be decisive as the token faces key support and resistance zones in the days ahead.

Rapid movements triggered by Federal Reserve policy changes or sudden altcoin listings are driving market participants to streamline their monitoring processes. In this environment, many traders are opting for all-in-one, privacy-focused platforms like CryptoAppsy, which integrate real-time charts, tailored price alerts, specific crypto news feeds, and macroeconomic data onto a single screen, all without requiring user registration.

Arbitrum’s prominent holding in Amundi’s tokenized fund signals its growing role in the development of real world asset infrastructure, while near-term ARB price direction remains dependent on both technical factors and broader adoption trends.
