Transfer Volume and Distributed Value Hit New Highs
Avalanche's (@avax) real world asset (RWA) transfer volume surged 3,810% over the past 30 days, reaching $428.9 million, according to data from rwa(.)xyz. The network's distributed asset value also climbed more than 27% over the same period, reaching $914.6 million.
The spike in transfer activity points to a sharp increase in the movement of tokenized financial products across the Avalanche network, rather than just static asset issuance. Distributed value reflects the portion of assets that has actually been put to work or tokenized in a way that is operational on the network, making the metric a meaningful indicator of real on-chain utility.
Institutional Momentum Driving Growth
Avalanche's RWA growth is not happening in isolation. BlackRock's USD Institutional Digital Liquidity Fund has been a key driver, accounting for $624.87 million of the network's total distributed RWA value and representing more than half of all assets on Avalanche's RWA dashboard.
Avalanche has become a major hub for institutional tokenization of real-world assets, with total locked value in on-chain RWAs surging nearly 950% in 2025 to over $1.3 billion, reflecting a wave of new initiatives bridging traditional finance with blockchain. Avalanche has positioned itself to meet institutional needs by leveraging customizable, compliance-ready appchains to power institutional integrations.
The broader RWA sector is also expanding rapidly. CoinGecko's RWA Report 2026 found that the total market capitalization of tokenized RWAs more than tripled between the start of 2025 and the end of March 2026, climbing 256.7% from $5.42 billion to $19.3 billion. Avalanche is positioning itself as one of the primary beneficiaries of that trend, with its combination of high throughput, near-instant finality, and compliance-friendly architecture drawing in asset managers and financial institutions.
