@BasedOneX, described as the second-largest trading venue on @HyperliquidX, is integrating with the ATLAS engine from @LayerZero_Core. The move is the platform's first multichain integration, and its mainnet launch is planned for November 30.
The integration links a major perpetual futures venue on $HYPE's ecosystem to infrastructure built by the team behind $ZRO, LayerZero's native token.
What ATLAS Does
ATLAS, short for Aggregated Trading Liquidity and Settlement, was unveiled by LayerZero on August 25, 2026. Crypto Briefing reported that it combines trade matching, clearing, settlement and risk management within a single system. It is built on Zero, the blockchain LayerZero announced in February.
LayerZero describes ATLAS as a headless exchange. According to crypto.news, trading venues can connect their own applications to ATLAS, select markets and handle customer distribution, while the underlying system processes trades and settlement. The company argues this removes the need to build exchange infrastructure from scratch or rely on a competing exchange's backend.
ATLAS supports a range of markets. LayerZero's resources page says market creators can define assets such as perps, spot, stocks, commodities, bonds and prediction markets.
LayerZero's published figures show sub-millisecond median latency, 1.418 milliseconds at the 95th percentile and 2.641 milliseconds at the 99th percentile. These were measured in an environment meant to mirror a public deployment. At launch, the company says ATLAS will be provisioned for 200,000 transactions per second, with ceilings set by the Zero blockchain.
These are the company's own reported metrics. As MEXC Learn noted, they are not long-term production statistics from a live global market, so real-world performance will only be clear once ATLAS handles meaningful volume.
For BasedOne, the integration offers a route beyond the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Further technical details and migration plans have not been confirmed in the sources reviewed.
