Binance (@binance) will shut down Binance Pool and related services on November 10, 2026. The closure goes beyond the mining pool itself and takes in Cloud Mining, Pool Savings and Transaction Accelerator.
Binance will discontinue all covered services at 07:00 UTC on November 10, 2026.The move ends an operation that has been running for over six years.
What miners need to do before the cutoff
From 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance will disconnect mining equipment from its pool and disable the Stratum addresses and mining endpoints used to submit computing power.Any mining shares or hashrate submitted after the deadline will no longer be accepted, processed or credited toward mining rewards. Users must switch to another mining pool before the deadline to avoid interruptions.
The shutdown also covers supporting tools. These include mining pool APIs and hashrate notifications.Binance Pool is expected to keep operating under normal conditions until the cutoff, and eligible mining shares submitted before 07:00 UTC will be included in the final reward calculation.
Reward distribution will follow Binance rules. Binance said eligible outstanding rewards, balances, refunds and settlements would be processed after the shutdown, subject to applicable product rules and compliance checks.Users will have until Nov. 24 to access historical mining records and payout information before the pool's pages become permanently inaccessible.
Reason for the closure and wider context
Binance attributed the closure to an ongoing review of its products and services but did not provide a specific reason for the decision. Crypto Briefing noted that the exchange has also moved to limit access to several services for users in Brazil, including Binance Pool, starting October 27, 2026, though Binance has not linked the global closure to the Brazilian rules.
Binance Pool was a relatively small part of the Bitcoin mining market. It launched in April 2020 as the mining arm of Binance. Hashrate Index data showed it with a small share of network hashrate, well behind leaders such as Foundry USA and AntPool, though that snapshot may be out of date. Pool market share figures vary by tracker and over time, so the impact on hashrate distribution will become clearer once miners have migrated.
Miners who rely on Binance Pool for payouts into their exchange accounts will need to pick a new pool, update their Stratum settings and check any Pool Savings positions before the November 10 deadline.
