Binance will discontinue its Bitcoin mining pool and related services on November 10, 2026, the exchange said in an official announcement published October 13. The shutdown covers Binance Pool, Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and the Transaction Accelerator, and it requires miners to move their hardware to another pool before the cutoff.

Binance described the decision as part of an ongoing review of its products and services and did not cite a specific reason for the exit.

What Binance Is Shutting Down

The discontinuation covers the core mining pool alongside a cluster of adjacent products, including Pool Savings, Cloud Mining, and the Transaction Accelerator. Telegram hashrate alerts, email notifications, and the mining pool API services will also be retired.

At 07:00 UTC on November 10, Binance will disconnect mining connections and disable its Stratum URLs and mining endpoints. Hashrate submissions and mining shares received after that time will no longer be accepted, processed, or credited.

Binance Pool is expected to keep operating under normal conditions until the cutoff, and eligible mining shares submitted before 07:00 UTC will be included in the final reward calculation. On November 10, Binance will also remove all links to Binance Pool from its homepage.

What Miners Must Do Before the Cutoff

Binance is directing users to disconnect from the pool and reconfigure their miners to a different pool before November 10 to avoid interruptions. Anyone holding active Pool Savings positions should redeem them before the service ends, and miners should complete any required identity verification by 23:59 UTC on November 10 to help ensure eligible rewards are processed.

Outstanding rewards, balances, and settlements will be processed after the cutoff, subject to product rules, account status, and compliance checks. Binance Pool pages will remain viewable for 14 days, until November 24, for historical data and payout records.

An Exchange Steps Back From Mining

The retreat reverses years of mining expansion by the exchange, which had built out cloud mining products and added new coins to its pool. It also lands amid turbulence in the mining sector, where once-leading pool Poolin filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

For affected miners, the practical consequence is a forced migration: those who do not switch pools before the cutoff will see their hardware stop earning until it is reconnected elsewhere.
