Bitcoin Holds Above $82,700 as Solana Leads Major Crypto Market Gains

The cryptocurrency market recorded modest gains on October 19, with Bitcoin (BTC) trading at $82,714.08, up 1.2% over 24 hours. According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin maintained a market capitalization of $1.66 trillion, while daily trading volume reached $23.39 billion.

Ethereum (ETH) followed with a 0.6% increase to $2,427.25, bringing its market capitalization to $296.50 billion. The second-largest cryptocurrency recorded $9.11 billion in trading volume, reflecting substantial market activity despite its smaller percentage gain.

Meanwhile, BNB advanced 1.0% to $726.86, with a market capitalization of $96.79 billion and daily trading volume of $644.10 million. XRP also gained 1.2% to $1.31, supported by $1.34 billion in trading activity and an $82.87 billion market capitalization.

Solana (SOL) outperformed Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and XRP, climbing 1.8% to $105.71. Its market capitalization reached $62.32 billion, while trading volume stood at $2.56 billion.

Elsewhere, TRON (TRX) declined 0.6% to $0.3315, with a market capitalization of $31.50 billion. Dogecoin (DOGE) increased 0.3% to $0.07972, bringing its market valuation to $12.47 billion. Zcash (ZEC) gained 2.3% to $1,161.12, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) advanced 1.1% to $80.20. Monero (XMR) moved in the opposite direction, falling 0.8% to $594.17.

BabyCashCat Leads Top Gainers With 271.9% Surge as Smaller Tokens Rally

Smaller cryptocurrencies recorded considerably stronger percentage gains, led by BabyCashCat (BABY), which surged 271.9% to $0.04289. The token generated $1.92 million in daily trading volume, placing it at the top of the gainers list.

The hi (HI) token climbed 153.6% to $0.01746, supported by $9.35 million in trading activity. Covenant x402 (COVENANT) followed with a 90.3% increase to $0.02801, recording $20.11 million in daily volume.

Boomer (BOOMER) advanced 53.8% to $0.01684, while Surplus intelligence (SURPLUS) rose 52.7% to $0.0001722. Claudia (CLAUDIA) gained 36.9% to $0.01967, with trading volume reaching $7.86 million. Additionally, Quack AI (Q) increased 18.3% to $0.1617, generating $122.10 million in trading activity.

Overall, the market showed mixed performance despite gains across most leading cryptocurrencies. Solana outpaced several major assets, while smaller tokens registered triple-digit increases and selected altcoins remained under selling pressure.
