As of 12:00 AM KST on August 12, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 89.89 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.48% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 90.12 million KRW, reflecting a negative price gap of 230,000 KRW and a reverse kimchi premium of -0.26%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a -0.28% reverse kimchi premium. Other major altcoins also traded at discounts to global prices, with Solana (SOL) at -0.35%, XRP (XRP) at -0.31%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at -0.43%, and Sui (SUI) at -0.20%. Most major altcoins are currently trading with a reverse kimchi premium in the -0.2% to -0.4% range.
