As of 12:00 AM KST on October 12, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 112.97 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.09% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 111.71 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 1.26 million KRW and a kimchi premium of 1.13%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 1.06%. Other major altcoins also traded at premiums, with Solana (SOL) at 1.21%, XRP (XRP) at 1.15%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.53%, and Sui (SUI) at 1.16%. Most major altcoins are currently trading with a kimchi premium in the 0.5% to 1.2% range.
