Bitwise Lists BWCC on Xetra
@Bitwise has officially launched the Bitwise Canton ETP (ticker: BWCC) on Deutsche Börse Xetra, opening up regulated, exchange-traded exposure to $CC, the native token of the @CantonNetwork, for European investors. The product launched on May 26, 2026, under ISIN DE000A4ARTH9.
BWCC is issued by Bitwise Europe GmbH in Germany and is fully backed by $CC tokens held in cold storage. The product tracks the Kaiko CANTO Reference Rate LDNLF index, net of a total expense ratio (TER) of 0.85% per annum. The ETP can be bought and sold through a standard brokerage account without a crypto wallet.
Canton Network is a privacy-enabled blockchain purpose-built for capital markets, developed with participation from institutions including Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Börse, and financial technology provider Broadridge.Unlike public blockchains where all activity is visible to everyone, on Canton, parties only see, validate, and record the parts of transactions relevant to them, meeting the confidentiality requirements of institutional finance.
TCAN Sets the Stage in the U.S.
The Xetra listing follows a similar move stateside. 21Shares launched the 21Shares Canton Network ETF (ticker: $TCAN) in the U.S. on May 7, 2026, making it the first U.S. ETF designed to offer investors direct exposure to Canton Coin. The fund launched with a gross expense ratio of 0.50%.
21Shares listed TCAN on the Nasdaq, targeting investors seeking direct exposure to Canton Coin through a regulated vehicle. Together, the BWCC and TCAN listings mark a broader push by asset managers to bring Canton Network exposure into traditional finance on both sides of the Atlantic, underlining growing institutional confidence in the network's infrastructure.
BWCC is the latest product in Bitwise's growing European crypto ETP lineup on Xetra, which already includes products tied to networks such as Avalanche and NEAR.
