BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) drew roughly 90% of the $314 million in net inflows recorded across U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs on Tuesday, making the fund the single dominant driver of the day's Bitcoin ETF demand.

IBIT Dominated Tuesday's Bitcoin ETF Buying

BlackRock's IBIT captured about 90% of the $314 million in net inflows that flowed into the U.S. spot Bitcoin ETF complex on Tuesday. That share implies IBIT alone accounted for roughly $282.6 million of the total, based on a direct calculation from the reported figures. For related coverage, see Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Pull $2.6B in One Week.

The estimate for IBIT is an approximation derived from the day's headline share, not a separately reported fund-level number. IBIT is the largest spot Bitcoin ETF by assets and remains the primary vehicle through which institutional capital gains regulated Bitcoin exposure.

Why IBIT's Share of Inflows Matters

When a single product absorbs nearly all of a day's net inflows, it signals concentrated investor preference within the Bitcoin ETF segment rather than broad-based demand spread across issuers. Tuesday's split, one fund taking the overwhelming majority of the group total, points to that concentration.

IBIT has repeatedly anchored the sector, including an earlier stretch when it led spot Bitcoin ETF inflows as funds added $517 million in a single session. That pattern of one issuer setting the pace has been a recurring feature of the current Bitcoin ETF cycle, which has also seen weekly inflows reach $1.918 billion.

The interpretation here should stay anchored to what the flow data proves: concentrated demand for one Bitcoin ETF. It does not, on its own, establish a directional call on Bitcoin's spot price, which is not addressed by the inflow figures.

The Broader Context for Tuesday's Inflows

Across all U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs, the group took in a combined $314 million on Tuesday, with IBIT supplying the bulk of that figure. Daily net flow data for the full ETF group is tracked on spot Bitcoin ETF flow dashboards.

BlackRock's dominance of the flow tables sits alongside its wider Bitcoin operations, including reports that the firm executed $5 billion in Bitcoin-to-ETF swaps. Sustained ETF demand has previously coincided with periods when Bitcoin approached $80,000 on inflows at a 10-month high.

Underlying all of it, Bitcoin's monetary base continues to expand only through the fixed issuance schedule enforced by the network's difficulty adjustment, which recalibrates roughly every 2,016 blocks. ETF demand shifts who holds the existing supply; it does not alter the protocol's capped issuance or the pace of new coins entering circulation.
